He had about 250 old newsletters sitting on beehiiv doing nothing. He fed them to the AI, had it turn them into blog posts, and the blog is now live with Google already sending readers to it, giving him a new funnel in a couple of hours.
The AI’s own processes silently wiped and recreated the user's entire ~/.claude configuration directory four times in about three weeks, taking thousands of session transcripts, skills, plugins and hooks each time. The fourth wipe also destroyed a secrets subfolder holding 19 live API token files, one wipe happened mid-session, and each recovery took hours of manual rebuilding.
This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.
GitHub Classroom shut down on August 28, and his Cloud Code Academy ran on it. He wrote a PRD first, then rebuilt the platform with AI over the weekend, with a template repo, feedback pull requests, autograder webhooks and an instructor queue, in 25 commits.
Abraham Gerving runs two small gyms on a key card model, staffed only part of the day. About a year ago he put an AI agent on member messages and calls: it schedules tours, books consultations, and points new members toward personal training, and some people who started out chatting with it became long term training clients.
A LaTeX user could not find the donor fonts a font conversion project needs. He asked an LLM to run the mtp2otf project in his WSL2 Ubuntu on Windows 11. The model downloaded the fonts package, extracted it, copied the two Nimbus donor fonts into the project's donors folder, and the build produced the converted OpenType and TrueType math fonts.
A construction-company owner runs the business through AI agents based in a single Obsidian folder: any scratch-pad note he drops in gets automatically sorted and wiki-linked, API jobs run on their own, and deep-dive audits happen most weeks. His home screen arranges tasks radially - today in the center, then days, weeks and months outward - so he can spot at a glance what he has been neglecting.
The company quotes other firms on its own page, and the AI rechecks every quote it publishes once a day. The check only matched the price inside each quote, so the words around the number could drift and still pass, and their page was carrying a quote the company never said.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
The AI helps him put GA4 and Microsoft Clarity tags live, with reviews and confirmations built in so he can check the event triggers fire. Cross checking the two tools showed bots being lumped into direct traffic.
A builder whose wife was laid off by Indeed built a job search platform with AI, then a connector that brings it inside an AI app: search about 15,000 new jobs a day for free, drop in a resume for matches and tailored versions, and have the service submit applications on employers' own sites once the user approves. It launched the week before his October 14 post and already has 450 users with 75 active daily; paid users on autopilot are seeing 83 interviews per 100 subscribers.
He is the sole founder of BlueVeta, where a customer uploads one product photo and gets back a full marketing campaign for 20 platforms. Every part of the company runs as its own AI session, the sessions message each other and share docs, and nothing is built, deployed or spent without his OK first. The company has real paying customers through Stripe, and the AI does about 75 percent of the work in each customer pack.
