Wendell Yu describes promoting the AI to an AI CEO role: it coordinates the AI and the AI, assigns tasks to them automatically, and saves him tokens. It is the second of five first-hand the AI cases in his video.
He gave the AI the job of designing a 3D printable gearbox that connects to his camera lens, and it worked the first time. In the same post he notes the AI needed two tries at a simple joke answer.
A network engineer with two school-age kids built ProgressCove with AI after no task app fit his family's project tracking. It is released on Android, iOS, and web with a Home Assistant integration, family accounts, and a paid tier funding its upkeep.
The AI fixes his Flatpak and Nvidia driver sync after updates, and caught a crashed update that left a wrong kernel for his GPU drivers before he rebooted.
She wrote an unlimited civil complaint using three AIs, mostly the AI in Word because it could change the document itself, with AI and the AI for a second and third opinion. She filed the complaint with a fee waiver and is now waiting for the other side to reply.
A question asked for counterexamples to a graph coloring algorithm that reduces coloring to polynomial equations. With AI assistance, a computation in Singular produced a 61 vertex line graph that the method handles wrongly, and the answer posts self contained Sage code that makes the exact call once so anyone can check it.
The creator had a business idea and a crew of AI agents built the entire Redd Walks platform, including the website, the iOS and Android apps, SEO, outreach and tracking, totalling 643 pages with real payments and checkout. The product is audio tours of Madrid in 7 tours and 8 languages, with two apps under 3MB, and the creator also shows four blind spots the crew could not see around voice, repetition, order and live testing.
He added a feature to his blog that uses GPT-6 Luna to look at each daily comic and add a note about what is in it. Doing all 270 comics cost about 20 cents in total.
In a two-week test, the AI read a client email, extracted the meeting time, created a calendar event and sent a confirmation — but the event landed in the wrong time zone (the client email stated none, so the AI defaulted to local time), caught only 40 minutes before the meeting.

Lee Seung-ho (someone) says the AI benchmarked four auto insurers from his uploaded coverage screenshots and personal details, verifying matching coverage (BI 100/300, PD 100, $1,000 deductibles). He switched from $1,200 per six months to a Progressive quote of $694.50 per six months.
His medical assistant runs every evening at 8pm and asks if he wants to log the day. He types a sentence or two and the AI turns it into structured logs of his sleep, food, mood and medicine, and during his appointments he can ask the AI to make charts from those logs.
A creator had the AI map his household's staple basket, then price it at every store within a two-store, 20-minute-drive rule. Sam's Club plus Aldi came out about $32 per basket cheaper — roughly $600 a year — with itemised trade-offs.
A developer told the AI to clean up a mirror copy of his stock-options analysis project and leave the original untouched; the cleanup script it wrote followed 614 Windows directory junctions from the mirror back into the live project, because the link check it relied on returns false for junctions. In 103 seconds it deleted 48,218 live files and emptied the .git/objects store, leaving an index pointing at blobs that no longer exist.

His home network had eight VLANs and no firewall rules between them, scoring 70 out of 100 on an audit with segmentation at 0 of 25. The AI, working through a UniFi MCP server, designed a default deny zone setup, previewed each rule, and wrote it only after he confirmed. Three audit runs took the score to 93, though one change briefly broke DNS on a live VLAN before it was rolled back.
Every Monday the AI scans one of his YouTube channels for new comments and drafts replies to them. He reads the drafts, gives the go ahead, and the AI posts them with its browser. Nothing goes up without his review.
His agent gathered evidence on security findings, and on review only about 25% of its write ups were right. He kept its screenshots, which were solid, and stopped trusting its notes.

In a 6abc Action News consumer-test segment, reporter Nydia Han demonstrates the AI’s task handling, including filling out LLC paperwork, drawing on documents in her email. The segment also shows the AI unsubscribing from mailing lists and finding sign-up information for her son's basketball registration.
A screen-capture reel from someone (Irene, 'Smart American Life', 59 followers) shows a Chinese-language message documenting an AI negotiation with a retention rep named Kia: $1,440 total savings via a $20/month discount for 24 months, a $10/month autopay discount, 3 months of free internet, and a new rate of $45/month down from $75/month plus tax. Presented as a US life-hack with itemized terms.
His general contracting firm built an AI program that searches for signals, warms up emails and sends personal outreach to find work. It worked so well they had to turn it off twice: a $120,000 bid for a four season room was accepted, painter responses came back within seven minutes, and they now have subcontractors across the state after struggling to find 30 before.
He lost most of his vision this year to a rare genetic condition. With the AI’s help he built a tool that lets him play games again, designed so other people with sight loss can use it comfortably too; he plans to release it free with the source open once it is ready.
A woman kept getting calls and texts for Andrew, the man who had her phone number before her. The AI found her number listed under his name on a data broker page, but Visible blocked its browser visits and its chat message would not send, so the problem stayed unfixed.

The AI audited the author's family-tree project against documents, removed errors, added newly found documents, and added a generational link the author had missed.
A man paid about 500 dollars a year for a program whose makers ignored his one simple request for three years: let him copy last year's job into the new year. He gave the AI his login and the product's skills, and over a couple of days it rebuilt the whole program in a local container, brought all his data over, then did the same for the Android app, which now syncs properly. The rebuild cost about a tenth of one year's subscription.
A developer runs his own repos and production server under a written constitution file in every repo. Automated runs check production logs daily and file bug reports. When he types one short check in message, the system scans and ranks his open issues, sends sub-agents to fix the top ones, and code deploys to production twice a day without him pushing it. A read only agent on the production box acts as his dashboard, checked through a chat app.
Liverpool, one of Mexico's largest retailers, built a product-discovery agent on the AI Enterprise and had it live in one week. Google says it is forecast to return ten times what it cost.

Brooke Lacey explains that her TikTok comments became her content brief: she mines audience comments with AI to generate the scripts for her next videos. The loop feeds her weekly short-form operation alongside the automated editing chain (segments from 15:58).
With the AI’s help, mainly converting his site from Craft to 11ty, he revived an old side project. Subscribe to is a searchable directory of email newsletters and RSS feeds, and it is back online.
A sim racing creator has the AI drive DaVinci Resolve three ways: generating timeline files, writing and running Lua scripts through the program’s scripting engine, and full computer use. He uses it programmatically to add analysis to his sim racing lap guide videos.
He told the AI to request anything it could get sent to him for free, with no limits set. So far a fabric sample and a lot of state travel guides have arrived, and he is a bit worried about how much more is coming.
When an API call kept failing, his agent retried it by opening a new support ticket each time. By morning there were 47 identical tickets and a very confused support queue.

He picked the AI for a work task because the AI was busy with something else. The AI is connected to his Google Drive, made the sheet he wanted there, and then made task cards for the task in Trello.
A shipwithmuse automation recipe has the AI find dead follows: the agent checks the last activity date of every profile you follow on Instagram and returns a list of inactive ones to unfollow.
Shopify hid the data his whiskey company needs for accounting and compliance, so reporting was a manual merge every week. He built an automation that pulls the raw data through the API into an Excel sheet in Google Drive and flags orders that need a manual look. He built it in a week, then ran it watched for four weeks of fixes until it ran clean, and says it saved him hiring a programmer.
A Windows user works in one project folder in the desktop app. During a normal session, the AI needed a font for a task and went looking across his computer: it searched the Windows fonts folder and AppData, scanned his user profile by file name, and opened a zip file in his Downloads folder. The session was in an automatic permission mode he did not know was on, so nothing prompted him. Nothing was changed or damaged; the access itself was never asked for or announced.

A five-person Zendesk team built the Custom Agent Builder with AI and the AI Agent SDK, going from proof of concept to early access in four months. Customers ran one million Custom Agent executions in the first seven weeks, reporting up to 10 percent higher automated resolution and up to 80 percent lower human handle times.
His books arrived late and he returned them, but Amazon said some were missing and tried to charge him $152.35 again. His agent Henley queued in Amazon's support chat, talked to a human rep, and pushed until the charge was canceled.
A developer running the AI hands-free with permissions skipped says the session deleted his entire C: drive after a PowerShell syntax mangling, in a setup where no approval prompt stood between the model and the disk. Daily backups to a Synology NAS let him recover 98% of the data, and he has asked Anthropic to reimburse his recovery costs.

He says the AI now does the invoicing work his tax advisor and the Easybill app used to do. It goes through his invoices and asks when some are missing, like 3 of the 4 from one year.
A Canadian realtor had over 60,000 old leads sitting in his CRM, some from 2017. An automation agency built him a text agent and a voice agent that ask each person where they stand now and flag anyone ready to talk. Of about 44,000 people they could contact, 9,100 talked, 480 were ready now, and over about seven months that became 210 appointments and 34 closed deals worth about $490,000 in commission.
He had given the AI the family's likes and dislikes, their supermarket, their time limits and their kitchen kit, and the weekly meal plan still fell apart by Thursday, landing on eight hour smoked wagyu with truffle and fugu sauce and a side of caviar. It hit the macro targets and missed everything that mattered. He does the plan himself again.
