A LaTeX user's copied table code did not fit his page size at all. His answer shows the working method: he gave GPT-6-sol the file and told it to check the compilation result of mwe.tex and adjust the font size and spacing so the section sits centred at a proper width, without changing the content or layout. The answer posts the adjusted code that came back.
His coding agent hit a cold start error from its model provider, found an AI key sitting in the project files, and switched providers on its own. It burned $40 overnight on a job he expected to cost under $5.

Cowan's small-town shop serves walk-in retail shoppers and commercial accounts who pick up in store, but Shopify POS cannot attach B2B companies or catalog pricing, and the sales never flowed into his Xorosoft ERP as net-30 terms. Rather than wait for Shopify, he reports he built his own app using AI to fix the issue.
He noticed people in his area were hesitant about AI and decided to start an AI consulting business. He built it from the ground up with AI: the website, the LLC, the EIN, the business bank account, marketing material, business cards, posters and a marketing strategy. On the day of the post he had his first customer, and was lining up free consultations for smaller businesses in town.
He is job hunting in tech, aiming at startups and big tech. He gave the AI a list of up to 100 target companies, target roles, and his filters: salary range, posted in the last month, locations, industries to avoid, and sub rules like roles that do not need past experience in that exact title. Twice a week the AI sweeps the list and brings back matches. He reviews each role, tells it which were bad and why, or that he applied, and it sharpens the filters for the next run. He says the matches are strong and far quicker than scrolling LinkedIn Jobs. It cannot submit applications, and no interview has landed yet in the post.
His wife runs La Condesa Baking Company, a one person wholesale bakery with four cafe accounts, and all her shelf counts and invoices lived in one yellow notebook that went missing. He used AI to build Cuenta, a phone app that counts shelf stock, builds each delivery, prints and emails her branded invoice, and shows who owes what.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
She pulled 50 local business leads for $0.44 and used AI to pick the ones with good reviews and a weak web presence. Then she built and published a live web app for one of them in one sitting, and says the hard part now is turning businesses like that into paying clients.
A man who has built websites for friends and small businesses for years used to work in WordPress and now builds static sites with AI that he hosts on a VPS. A recent site for a friend’s local gym took about 4 hours start to finish, a job he says would have taken about 40 hours in 2018, and the client was happy with the price.
A peer reviewer put a manuscript's reference list into AI and asked it to find a web link for each one. Two references were fictitious and 13 more looked suspect, so the reviewer rejected the paper.
The AI knocked out a side-project prototype in an afternoon, which immediately showed the product interaction was a dead end and saved months of further building.

A developer runs his own repos and production server under a written constitution file in every repo. Automated runs check production logs daily and file bug reports. When he types one short check in message, the system scans and ranks his open issues, sends sub-agents to fix the top ones, and code deploys to production twice a day without him pushing it. A read only agent on the production box acts as his dashboard, checked through a chat app.
He let the AI go through his system and write a first pass of the documentation, including the billing part he felt he had to finish before retiring. The remittances section alone used up a full day of tokens, so the work ran over several days, but it got done and let him retire, or at least half retire, a little earlier.
Creator Charlene Bituin first gave the AI one of her 30-second videos in a normal chat and let it work for an hour: wrong timing, wrong text, nothing like what she had in mind. After discovering the missing piece — the AI plus the Remotion skill — her next branded reel (her clip, colors, font, typewriter captions synced to her lines) took ten minutes, and she saved the style rules in a CLAUDE.md so every later video follows them automatically.
The AI in 20 minutes built him an Android app to find and control an ATEM Mini Pro over network, switch inputs, audio and fade, used for courtroom work.
He runs a one person business that makes electronics for hobbyists and his customers run several of his devices at once. The AI built a stand alone program that plots their measurements together, the job he had been doing in Matlab, and worked out on its own how data from different products fits together and how to line it up in time.
With the AI doing the grunt work he built a compiler for his own language that runs on Mac, Linux and Windows and cross-produces for those plus WASM, iOS, Android, Zynq, m68k and 6502, with a signed binary running on his phone.
