The AI modernized a 22-year-old legacy system, updating dependencies, auditing security and adding features, raising test coverage from about 65 percent to about 80 percent.
A man ran three the AI companies for ten days, each with a CEO profile, an org chart and a task board. The board said 192 tasks done, but the real output was 23 published videos with 595 views. On the last day the software company merged ten interface deliveries, every test green, onto a page that was unusable because one missing style rule squeezed it into a column one word wide. Nothing in 374 tests checked how the page actually looked.

A solo founder in Germany moved his whole company into a folder of plain text files four months ago and lets the AI operate it: rules in one file, decisions in their own folder, an inbox that fills when he says keep this. Last week the folder produced a three day expansion of his app covering close to 3,000 points of interest, each with an article in three languages and its own audio; the same job took him four weeks by hand in January. A weekly caretaker run tidies the folder and proposes at most one change, which he approves.
Every CEO Dan Shipper was changing a flight out of San Francisco with his Dot when the agent interrupted its own flight research with a warning: the option might overlap with head of video Randy Counsman's Wednesday morning recording. There was no such recording on Shipper's calendar — the Dot had read a Slack discussion he had never seen, clocked the proposed schedule, and connected it to the flight he was about to pick.
At the same accounting firm, staff batch upload client bills and the agent reads each one, decides whether it belongs in payables, receivables, or the cash book, and posts it into AutoCount after a person reviews and amends the lines. The firm has run the setup in production for three months.
Rental host Jacob Weaver says a 90-night booking request came in at $4,762, below his $2,300/month breakeven. Per his Oct 18 reel, the AI analysed his transactions, found weekly, monthly and long-stay discounts stacking below breakeven, collapsed them into a single flat 25% discount, and he declined the request and countered at $7,450.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
A man built a service that sits on his company’s GitHub repos. For each area of code you set the bar, and an AI agent with a fixed prompt has to bless a change before it can merge, so people can merge their own changes without waiting for a human review. About 30% of the company’s pull requests now merge this way.
A man who flips vintage items on eBay connected the AI to his store. The AI found 28 listings with views but no sales, worked out that eBay was really taking 16% in fees, and published a bundle of two vases that sold within a week.
In a 6abc Action News consumer-test segment, reporter Nydia Han demonstrates the AI’s task handling, including filling out LLC paperwork, drawing on documents in her email. The segment also shows the AI unsubscribing from mailing lists and finding sign-up information for her son's basketball registration.
