When the tool he wanted was not on the AI’s connector list, he had the AI build the link itself. The AI took his Linear API key into secure storage, built a connector that can list teams, search and create issues and update their status, then checked it worked with an identity check. He says the same route works for any service with an API.
A small business owner linked PayPal to the AI. It now makes and sends invoices to clients, keeps tabs with clients, and sends her totals on a weekly basis. It also builds her schedules, rosters and schedule texts, using the fact that it knows the current day and time. She says the setup made her cancel her $20 AI subscription.
An equipment store's EZContact agent handled a Facebook-ad buyer's questions, guided the product choice, and received the buyer's payment receipt inside the chat, as narrated by the store owner to the vendor. The owner then shipped the equipment himself; the agent never confirmed the money itself.
Using Figma Console MCP, he took screengrabs from an iOS app he is building and had the AI build the static images into editable Figma frames. He says it worked.
Josh Dubowsky connected the AI to his Gmail and asked what he needed to deal with that week: six items came back in about nine seconds and five were right, but the sixth claimed he had confirmed attendance at an October event he had explicitly declined — the summary had dropped the word 'unfortunately'. This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
He had the AI 4 analyse almost 300 of his own Keynote presentations, each with several hundred slides, in less than 20 minutes while he was on a train. He then posted what it found.
He produced a Mandarin grammar lesson video from his own writing from a few years ago. The AI made the visuals with Remotion, the AI did the drawings and BytePlus TTS did the voices, and the finished lesson is up on YouTube.
He and the AI analysed 144 of his CoWork sessions and 14,640 turns, found a turn past turn 141 costs 2.1x an early turn, and stopped batching sessions as a result.
