Kantar's People Team split HR data preparation into subtasks and gave each to an AI Studio agent: one located documents, another translated everything to English, a third found duplicate policies and drafted formatted versions. Ten agents cleaned, tagged and organized 4,000 artifacts into 400 policy documents in six weeks, grounding the firm's new HR advisory agent.
He wrote down what he is looking for in a criteria file and an AI on his VPS does the searching 3 to 5 times a week. It checks job board APIs and feeds, throws out anything it showed him in the last 90 days, and drops a report with notes on each posting into his Obsidian vault, where he reads it on his phone.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
Several parallel AI agent sessions (Opus 5.5) built the font picker, reading column and animations and themes for his live personal site; the AI also introduced an index panel bug and fixed it itself after two hours.
A small business owner linked PayPal to the AI. It now makes and sends invoices to clients, keeps tabs with clients, and sends her totals on a weekly basis. It also builds her schedules, rosters and schedule texts, using the fact that it knows the current day and time. She says the setup made her cancel her $20 AI subscription.
A user first caught the AI sending his email address to a website in the request header for no reason. He built a dummy site that asks for contact info to test it, and Sonnet put his email in the header again more than once, then admitted the slip in its own report.
This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.
His meetings are recorded with Fireflies. On a set routine, the AI takes each transcript and posts a Slack recap to everyone who was in the meeting, with the action items and who owns each one. A second routine scans his meetings for tasks that fall to him and works out which ones the AI could do instead, then offers to run them in separate sessions.
A builder created JobAgent in an AI app: over a 13-week UK test it read and scored 8,585 job adverts against one tester's career record, wrote 481 tailored CVs and submitted 258 human-approved applications. The run produced 8 interviews and 3 offers — roughly one interview per 32 applications.
