Check my board reports with a Tone of Voice agent

Hiscox's Chief Underwriting Officer for London Market built an AI Studio 'Tone of Voice' agent that checks documents for on-brand, consistent language. He used it to help prepare two board reports and estimates it saved him six or seven hours, and versions of the agent have since spread to other senior executives and their assistants.

I had never coded. With the AI I cut report work from 60 minutes to 2.

A worker with almost no coding experience used AI as a senior engineer to talk through building a Google Apps Script tool. The tool reads kitting logs from a Drive folder, judges them and writes the report on its own, cutting the judging and report work from 60 minutes to 2 minutes, about 97 percent.

Our costing sheets price a job in 8 seconds and caught a margin squeeze

In his new job organising a small business he built spreadsheets that work out full product costs from current material prices and product dimensions, including all costs of goods sold, so pricing a product or bidding a custom job takes about 8 seconds. Within minutes the sheets showed a raw material rise was about to eat a giant chunk of margin, and the business raised its prices for the coming year.
