The AI revived four shelved papers and got them ready to submit

A mathematician with more than a dozen finished but never submitted papers pulled out four of them and shared them with AI. The AI caught errors, built a spreadsheet comparing his new concepts against related papers, converted plain TeX to LaTeX, wrote abstracts he adopted almost word for word, and fixed bibliography entries unprompted. All four papers improved to the point where he submitted them.

Turn my podcast walks into wiki notes and a quiz

A developer built Idea Leash on an AI profile running locally on his Mac: he sends a podcast link by Telegram before a walk, and the agent transcribes it, writes notes into his markdown wiki and prepares a five-question quiz. After four real walks it had logged 7.66 km, nine voice ideas and sent after-walk summaries with web searches for ideas he dictated.

Update all 12 pages of my website in three minutes

Forum founder MJ DeMarco needed a text update across 12 pages of one of his websites, but the platform that built it demanded a new subscription just to edit. He gave the AI access to the site folder instead; it made all the changes in about 3 minutes, avoiding an estimated hour of manual editing and a $20/month subscription.

59-year-old non-coder's the AI posts 95 times a week across six accounts

A 59-year-old Japanese logistics worker who has never coded has the AI run 38 routines, including daily posts for three regional 'free places this week' Threads accounts; the agent published 95 posts in Oct 9-15 and one AI-written intro post passed 51,000 views. He reviews output five minutes morning and evening from his 4.5-hour commute.

My agent watches my kids' classes in Canvas and built a dashboard of missing work

He has the AI logged into the Canvas parent app. It tracks each class and lists any missing assignments. He told it to ignore work missing for less than 3 days, so he does not get noise about things that are not due yet. The first version was all text, so he asked the AI to build a nicer dashboard, and it did. He says it is far better than using the Canvas app himself.

Three AIs raced to catalog 999+ Shopify themes; only the AI finished

Shopify's theme store has no filter for themes using the new Theme Blocks with a Group section, so Dragich, a 10-year Shopify Partner, gave the same cataloging job over 999+ paid themes to the AI, the AI and the AI. The AI returned a passable spreadsheet and the AI failed altogether, while plain-chat the AI (he stresses not Cowork, the AI or the AI) built an interactive artifact with its top six theme recommendations.

My agent talked Amazon out of a $152.35 charge while I was offline

A man returned books that arrived late and Amazon said some were missing and tried to charge him $152.35 again. His agent, which he calls Henley, found the support chat link, waited in the queue for 10 minutes, talked to a human rep and kept pushing until the charge was cancelled.
