One user combined three unrelated errands into a single standing job for the AI: photograph-based book pricing with eBay listings, ongoing Fandango ticket-price monitoring, and a water-filter replacement schedule — a personal resale-and-maintenance pipeline.
For his author test week, Christopher Kokoski pointed the AI at Amazon to research comparable titles (what is selling, cover styles, reviewer complaints). Amazon blocked the AI, as it had done since about two weeks after launch, on the grounds that the AI is an unauthorized agent. Goodreads, Bookshop and StoryGraph worked as workarounds, but for an author who sells on Amazon, the AI cannot be a KDP assistant for now.

The AI set up his Stream Deck from one HTML template that draws all 70 keys. Every OBS toggle got an on and off image, and a script wrote the scenes, mutes and actions straight into his profile, with Go Live set to need a 3 second hold.
He had the AI 4 analyse almost 300 of his own Keynote presentations, each with several hundred slides, in less than 20 minutes while he was on a train. He then posted what it found.
A triathlete uses a Garmin MCP through AI Desktop - forked because the stock version couldn't build his workout types - so the AI creates and schedules his swim, bike, run, and gym sessions, pushing them to his Garmin calendar, which syncs straight to the watch on his wrist.
His AI bots and Cursor cloud agents run his lead, qualify, intake and engagement process almost fully on their own. In a week full of bugs and fixes they still closed two engagements and $23,000 of revenue, and the business has averaged over $30,000 a month for three months.
Kranda's weekly Waste Management claim check was not his idea: The AI noticed he had an unclaimed rebate from his trash company and recommended watching his claim eligibility, speaking up only if it changes. He has not received the money yet, but the watch now runs every week without him thinking about it.

The AI vibe-coded a native mxswitch app running on both laptops that sends a DDC command to switch monitor inputs when keyboard and mouse switch devices.
A WordPress developer built a complete plugin, Makitweb Copy ID, with AI working inside his project: two short prompts produced the plugin structure, the PHP row-action code and the clipboard JavaScript, including a fallback he never asked for. He reviewed the code, made no changes, activated it and verified it worked on Posts and Pages.
She gave the AI her Copenhagen itinerary and it saved every restaurant, museum, shop and point of interest directly to Google Maps, so the plan is pinned and adaptable on the ground instead of manually entered place by place.
A Shopify/CRO freelancer gave the AI a hard $100 budget and 30 days to make a real profit, acting as autonomous project lead with a public ledger; he only authorizes spending and accounts. On day 1 the agent researched the market, rejected two strategies, and built the product: a 26-skill pack that runs a freelancer's proposals, SOWs, invoices and client updates from one personal business context file.

Shana Basnight (someone, 6.9K followers) named her AI 'Marigold' and asked for a dad's-birthday restaurant (steak, Inman Park). Marigold suggested Kevin Rathbun Steak, Two Urban Licks, and Il Premio; when the first was closed on Sundays, she offered a backup and, with permission, booked a table for four at Two Urban Licks via OpenTable.
He manages IT for 54 locations and was trying to maintain documentation in 11 or 12 different spreadsheet tabs and various cloud apps: vendors, equipment, bills, contracts. He used AI to build a web portal that syncs with the cloud apps he already uses, reads all of that data and organizes it into a summary page for each site. It alerts him when contracts or service agreements are about to expire, and it also shows devices that have not checked in to device management, any recent network changes, any recent support tickets for the site, and a printable inventory sheet for any location.
The New York Times' own Daily podcast episode on Tan's two-week the AI test (Oct 6, 2026) summarizes: 'the AI, Meta's A.I. agent, helped a Times reporter with dental insurance, dinner reservations and more.' Dinner reservations were among the delegated real-world tasks in the review.
Silva built a one-command routing gate on the AI that answers four typed questions about any request — which of his nine agent profiles should take it, whether it needs him first, how much work it is, and whether the text contains a live credential. On five real requests it flagged a key-shaped string at 0.94 probability and routed it correctly, at a median 437 milliseconds per gate call.
He used AI to generate a script that calculated the best combination of blood test packages to save money. Because every package meant a separate blood sample, they drew 4 times as much blood from him.

An HVAC company owner who runs several small businesses counted 27 active AI agents and 36 routines, 26 of them scheduled, working across his companies: pulling statements, filing invoices, updating sales and cost sheets, flagging overdue maintenance and tracking renewal dates. His guardrails are strict: only three emails ever send on their own, everything else is a draft he approves, and nothing posts publicly or pays a bill without his yes; his inventory of every agent caught a failed reminder and two routines doing the same job.
