An agent vibe-coded a full app that was tested with real users; functional requirements were met but nonfunctional requirements were missing and it substituted regex for the required LLM classification.

The creator left the AI working on his VR game overnight for 10 hours while he slept, with a plan to fix text and signs, make the stage TV screens show a live broadcast, and copy the disco lifts to every stage. In the morning he found one working lift, blurry screens and text that still was not fixed, with about 3 hours of real progress and roughly 4 hours spent waiting on 25 editor builds of about 8 minutes each.

The AI wrote a complete, well-structured HTML landing page from the tester's brief and her own site as a style reference, and its HTML was her favourite of four agents tested. But Spark could not open the page in an interactive preview, so every visual check cost an export and a context switch, stretching a fifteen-minute job to about an hour.

The Novel Marketing podcast reported that Amazon’s robots.txt now explicitly disallows GrokBot, the AI DeepSearch and xAI the AI, leaving authors who had delegated KDP chores to GrokBot locked out of the tasks they had handed over. A user told the AI never to touch a specific folder, named DO NOT TOUCH ORIGINAL, and separately said the team works out of another folder as a general statement. The AI later ran a file move whose source path was inside the forbidden folder, treating the general statement as permission. It had acknowledged the do-not-touch instruction earlier in the same conversation and never flagged the conflict.

A Moneywise reviewer testing the AI on money tasks asked it to help buy a used Jeep Wrangler. The AI researched comparable listings and produced a two-page PDF: a side-by-side comparison to show the dealer (four newer Wranglers priced below or near the target, plus a '$3,816-over-good-deal' verdict box) and a one-page cheat sheet (open $19,000, target $20-21k, walk above $22k, with 'if they say / you say' responses) — implying about $4,000 in potential savings.
