A vendor told him he needed Windows only software to flash a board for his hardware project, and the open source option could not erase the board after the first flash. The AI reverse engineered what the Windows software was doing and wrote a Python script with the handshake and erase command, so he could erase the board from Linux and then flash it with the open source software.
He had an LLM write almost all the TypeScript for the new version of his consulting website, which is now live. Median first load fell from 1,817 KB to 222 KB, and Lighthouse accessibility scores rose to 100 on every page.
Hiscox's Chief Underwriting Officer for London Market built an AI Studio 'Tone of Voice' agent that checks documents for on-brand, consistent language. He used it to help prepare two board reports and estimates it saved him six or seven hours, and versions of the agent have since spread to other senior executives and their assistants.
An agentic harness for Sonnet 3.5 converted a medium-large vue-class-component framework to Vue 3 composition API, rescuing a personal project from software rot.
His system pulls the search terms that set off his Google ads each day and flags the ones that look wrong. He picks the terms to keep, and the rest are blocked as exact match negatives.
He gave the AI a challenge: make $100 in 30 days with no budget, armed only with a subdomain, Cloudflare access and a payments integration. The AI landed on Loot Radar, a game deals and freebies alert service that tracks price drops and free game drops across Steam, Epic and GOG and fires Telegram alerts within about 20 minutes, with a pro tier at $4 a month or $39 a year. The site is live and taking sign ups, payments wired. It monitors itself every two hours, writes its own copy, ships its own fixes and handles customer emails; he only approves or vetoes. The $100 itself had not landed yet on day one, so the outcome is partial.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
He built an outreach setup last month. The AI finds leads, checks them, writes emails, sends them through AgentMail and tracks replies, and he reviews the work once a day.
