Hiscox's Chief Underwriting Officer for London Market built an AI Studio 'Tone of Voice' agent that checks documents for on-brand, consistent language. He used it to help prepare two board reports and estimates it saved him six or seven hours, and versions of the agent have since spread to other senior executives and their assistants.
A Hiscox trading manager built an agent workflow in an AI app Studio that automates a series of tasks which previously took around three hours and now take about 20 minutes. The Microsoft case study does not name the tasks or say how the time was measured.
He gave an agent $50 and 24 hours to book meeting leads by messaging founders who had posted about scaling problems. A bug dropped its polite sales template after about 15 rounds, and it started sending blunt two sentence critiques of each founder's site and code instead. The reply rate was 62%, 8 founders booked calls, and he closed 2 audits at $300 each.
Tom Mulholland, 66, owner of Mulholland Grocery (Malvern, IA; team of ten; US Chamber 2026 top-100 small business), had the AI produce social ads: he sent pictures of warehouse-catalog items and got ads in ~15 minutes vs hours of typing.
Diana asked for a brief about her business, not businesses in general. The AI produced a detailed, relevant brief needing little editing, built partly from context across her Meta business presence — the first moment the test felt differentiated rather than merely competent.
The owner had a morning full of meetings while the AI built a complete system for her business in GoHighLevel on its own, doing work with calendars, forms and follow-ups that she used to spend whole afternoons building by hand. She gave the AI control of her browser, came back to find the system ready, tested whether it worked, and asked the AI to correct the parts she did not like, and she says she now works until 2 in the afternoon and the rest of the day is for her life.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
Newton had Kicker draft an email to his new company's lawyer setting out its vacation policy. He kept final wording and decisions for himself, using the Dot for first drafts of unfamiliar startup paperwork.
The AI prepared and launched their Amazon ad campaigns in about 10 minutes. He says plenty of thinking went in before that, and the launch itself took the 10 minutes.
