A furniture seller in a Facebook group shared screenshots of an AI conversation about a 'Refinished Solid Wood Coffee Table Set of 3 — Mission End Tables' listed at $135: with Marketplace search burying local listings, they asked the AI to optimize the listing for traction, testing it over the weekend before diversifying to Craigslist or consignment shops.
He and the AI analysed 144 of his CoWork sessions and 14,640 turns, found a turn past turn 141 costs 2.1x an early turn, and stopped batching sessions as a result.
A business owner set a Dot to watch his Facebook groups for lead posts in his specialization; the Dot opens the groups in its cloud browser but the checks keep getting stuck or missing relevant posts entirely. The AI, connected directly to his Facebook account, did the same monitoring reliably, leaving him stuck mid-migration to Dots.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
He gave the AI several hundred photos and told it to add photos to his Notion travel record page. It picked about 30, added them, and also made a route map from his GPX data.
He is a consultant, and the free apps he and his team used to track time for the official timesheet all annoyed him. So he made his own time tracker, ConClock, with AI, and it is already at version 0.7.2.
Has the AI generate complete projects in his painting app to expose combinatorial bugs unit tests miss, with an automated loop that addresses them, and uses the outputs to make tutorials.
Author educator Christopher Kokoski set up a test the AI with a series bible in Google Drive for a mystery series (hero Rudy Relish: seven hard rules including a bad left knee, never touches a gun, no ketchup on the cart). He added the first three chapters of book four and had the AI check each against the bible and all other pages, on a daily scheduled check. Chapters 1-2 were clean; in chapter 3 the AI caught every one of several mistakes he had planted, including one he considered an unfair plant. (Test manuscript on a fresh account, run for a week.)
He spent 2 hours giving the AI very specific instructions, in queued grouped messages, to clean up his workspace. Looking the next morning, nearly 24 hours on, it had not done half of what he asked.
This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.
