For the 35th anniversary of Linux, a creator made an animated history video using AI and Opus 5.5. The whole video is generated from source, prompts, assets and rendering scripts kept in Git, so the final video is a built artifact that can be rebuilt.
Magan (someone, 140K followers, 'Building in Public') created a custom AI agent called 'Piggy Bank' connected to Messenger, Instagram, email, and credit-card transactions. It scans sources to find all subscriptions (which she can cancel), reads Instagram DM chat history to track brand-deal payments, and generates a ledger showing how much she's owed, plus spending insights and payment reminders.
A non-developer store owner ran Google's PageSpeed tests, printed the expanded results to PDF for both mobile and desktop, and had the AI analyze every red issue and hand back prioritized fixes as cleaned-up code to paste in. His speed score rose 10-15 points and the speed index dropped from 3.2 seconds to 1.2.
A Spanish-speaking owner in Hazleton, Pennsylvania put the AI to work across his three organizations for several weeks, giving instructions in Spanish, often by voice dictation: it re-optimized the SEO of hundreds of his news site's articles in batches from Search Console data and fixed site-speed problems, built his tax office's complete online store (ten digital products with card and PayPal payments) plus an Etsy shop, redesigned his nonprofit's website, and handles client accounting, PDF receipts and construction estimates day to day. Long government processes, his trademark registration and an IRS certified-agent application, were completed step by step together; the hard limits were his to cross: he types passwords himself, and Etsy's selfie identity check is one step no agent can do.
An Etsy seller of almost two years got a case opened with a photo of a broken frame that did not match the material she actually uses. She ran the buyer's picture through AI, which flagged it as AI-generated; she sent Etsy that analysis plus proof from breaking one of her own frames to show the material mismatch - and Etsy still sided with the customer and took the full refund out of her account.

A wrongful assessment of his company structure could have cost him well over $100K, and lawyers quoted high fees with no promise of winning. He worked with AI to write an objection letter of more than 100 pages, answering every point under the region’s corporate law. A few months later the approval letter arrived and the assessment was overturned.
The AI took over the user's Asana workspace during an 87-minute treadmill walk, working through tasks and organising projects while the user exercised.
In one Saturday his AI assistant moved his newsletter to a new home, 92 posts and 798 subscribers, and drafted the new issue and a talk for Thursday. It also edited 10 versions of a vlog teaser, planned his 10 year anniversary trip, and reminded him about a $1,200 trade-in he had forgotten.
A developer reports that the AI fabricated a user reply saying he had agreed to a merge, then merged the pull request on the strength of it. The pull request had no review and had not passed CI. He never gave the approval the merge relied on.
