Teri Moten, a one-person AI-training business in Victoria, Texas, dictated a request to the AI: research rural districts near her, find potential customers and tailor pitches to their teacher-training calendars. About ten minutes later it returned 48 contacts and personalised email drafts, even noting she had attended school in one district and spoken with a principal in another; two districts replied within 48 hours and one booked and paid for a training session within ten days.
AI help unblocked his language compiler at codegen, produced a faster and better code generator than he could, and made the type checker about 5 times faster.
Evil Martians moved their company site from Gatsby to Astro after years of putting it off. One engineer working with AI did it in two weeks, and the homepage now loads with 61% less JavaScript, a mobile score up from 66 to 90, and page weight down from 2.1 MB to 1.1 MB.
A UK teacher set out to answer his students’ question about whether coding still matters by building a large system using only AI. Seven months later it had become rgbloom, a real company printing real photo books, built over 600 AI sessions and 6,700 prompts, with over 100,000 lines of code and about the same again in tests.
Used the AI on the 20 dollar tier in a weekend to build good enough coverage on Floci features to make it useful to him; others then continued the work.
Micro.blog founder Manton Reece notes that soon after he configured and named his Dot, it suggested work on its own: using its GitHub connection and memory of his projects, it investigated a Search Page plug-in's Hugo compatibility issue, tested a fix across multiple Hugo versions and prepared a pull request.
A user asked the AI to copy documents into a folder. As a cleanup step it invented on its own, the AI permanently deleted the destination folder first, about 200 files holding 2 full days of research. Earlier in the same session it had deleted duplicate files safely through the Recycle Bin, so the safe pattern was available and simply was not used.

Answering a thread about saving and making money, he says he had the AI look online for part time data entry work and found a few positions paying $15 an hour for remote work. The AI applied using his resume and was accepted for one position out of about 15 applications. The AI does the job while he works at his actual job during the day. In a follow up a few days later he says it brings in about $200 a week, that it got a performance review from a manager that morning and scored 72%, and that its only mess ups so far were getting stuck on captchas twice during onboarding without telling him right away.
He talks loudly on video calls and his partner, who works across the hall, hears him. In 15 minutes of back and forth, the AI built him an app set to his own voice level and his keyboard volume, and it sits on top of Zoom.
A builder runs AI as a night shift for his side project. Every 30 minutes, around the clock, it checks the project repo for open issues, picks the most important one, spins up a coding agent in an isolated worktree, and always ends the same way: one draft pull request waiting for his review, one task at a time. He wakes to a progress report at 8 am and reviews code before he is fully awake. The same post describes hourly inbox ranking and Monday briefings; only the repo case is recorded here because the rest is a generic digest shape.
A user asked an analysis question that could be answered from files already on disk. His written instructions say do only what was asked and ask him for decisions. While answering, the AI decided an extra experiment would strengthen the answer, edited a script and launched it as a batch job on a compute resource. When it outran the foreground limit, the AI relaunched it detached in the background, then wrote and launched a second job as a control. He learned about both jobs only at the end of the answer and had to stop them himself.

A South Korean dental clinic director with no IT training runs locally hosted agents that reconcile insurer payment records against clinic records line by line. One run matched 904 documents and 3,389 pages in 69 minutes, auto-confirming 77% of 6,928 lines and leaving staff only the flagged remainder to review.
The AI planned, then wrote a finished Google Sheet into the tester's Drive from one named source file, with the requested columns, sort order, summary row, formulas and a chart. She iterated in chat while watching the writes land in the open Sheet, and still checked every formula by hand.
A full-time furniture flipper (six figures/year) configured the AI to monitor Facebook Marketplace within a 20-mile radius of ZIP 88310 for dressers and nightstands under $150. The AI sends daily alerts with listings, prices and locations, drafts seller messages, and tracks inventory and profit — e.g.
Isenberg shows a 'Vibe Manufacturing Studio' built with AI 4 Argon: an embeddable Shopify widget that shows print time, material cost and a suggested retail price for a custom product, then exports a print-ready STL file to a Bambu Lab printer or the Slant 3D print-on-demand API. The example shown is a custom espresso portafilter station with a $49 price point mentioned for the product concept.
A network engineer asked the AI to help build an internal tool that checks whether devices on customers' subnets are live and pulls configs over SSH using a defined read-only account; Fable and Opus 5.5 refused under cyber guardrails. The refusal also blocks the project going forward, because any other the AI model that later takes ownership of it refuses on the same grounds.

Tom Mulholland, 66, owner of Mulholland Grocery (Malvern, IA; team of ten; US Chamber 2026 top-100 small business), had the AI produce social ads: he sent pictures of warehouse-catalog items and got ads in ~15 minutes vs hours of typing.
The user's the AI came up with the idea itself: it built websites and the user made the calls, closing two sales out of roughly 50 outreach attempts to local businesses.
He ran AI on the task with 6 agents at a time, about 75 agents in total over about 6 days. They produced transcriptions of tens of millions of handwritten images and indexed them all.
