His 5th grade class studied Maricarmen and her eviction, a real case, and the pupils made work about it. He gave Notebook the AI directions to redo the class video so all of their work can be seen, and the video is posted with a PDF of the work on his class blog.
He runs all the steel on a large construction job. The AI builds him a packet for each item from the project document database, and reads the specs and codes to work out which one takes precedence when they conflict. He says it saves him at least 15 hours a week.
He is a consultant, and the free apps he and his team used to track time for the official timesheet all annoyed him. So he made his own time tracker, ConClock, with AI, and it is already at version 0.7.2.
A woman opening a small shop uses paid the AI to track her stock. She takes a photo of each item and the AI adds it to an Excel spreadsheet and fills in the data for all the columns from the photo.
For his father's laser printer repair company, László researched the business and built a website holding the full sale plan — what transfers, deal and price, process and first 30 days. It also produced a spreadsheet of 136 potential buyers, each with a fit score.
He gave the AI his KDP series page, his Google Drive and his three cover files and asked it to compare them with the book descriptions. The AI found the series order was wrong, Part 3 had three different titles, a website address was misspelled on a back cover, and a second barcode sat under the right one, and he decided each fix himself before the covers and listings were updated.
He used AI in a Google spreadsheet to apply a mass change to 30k rows. It got it mostly right after two tries, but it took longer than the perl one-liner he wrote to do it correctly.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
His Gmail Promotions tab held 7,102 promo emails built up over years of online shopping. He asked the AI to clear them. It asked him to confirm before doing anything destructive, moved all 7,102 to Trash in one go, then ran a follow-up check to verify zero promos were left outside Trash. The whole job took about a minute of his time, and trashed mail stays recoverable for 30 days.
Employees at Swiss sportswear brand On launched no-code the AI Enterprise agents themselves. The agents handle knowledge extraction, executive reporting, research, scheduling and onboarding materials.
His meetings are recorded with Fireflies. On a set routine, the AI takes each transcript and posts a Slack recap to everyone who was in the meeting, with the action items and who owns each one. A second routine scans his meetings for tasks that fall to him and works out which ones the AI could do instead, then offers to run them in separate sessions.
He used the AI API to draft his articles automatically for a week. Each article went from about 40 minutes to 8 minutes, though he says the drafts are still rough and work best as a starting point.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
The AI ported his MomentFrame iOS app from Swift to Flutter, doing rendering, geocoding, the in-app purchase flow, and driving the simulator to check its own screenshots; the app is on the App Store.
He is a sales manager who does not code. In five weeks he built a system that connects the AI to his CRM, Microsoft 365, his reMarkable and his Plaud recorder. It tracks meetings and calls, updates his todo list, drafts follow ups and puts them in his calendar, imports business cards, prepares quotations, keeps the CRM updated with meeting reports, benchmarks his prices against competitors, sends personalised mailings, and every night reads the day's email and prepares a recap of the next day.
A video summary was made for others to use in their teaching. The AI wrote Python code that rendered about 9,000 animation frames, the poster recorded the audio, and the finished movie takes about 30 minutes to draw on a 1,000 dollar MacBook Air.
A developer new to making videos drops raw files into a folder and the AI, connected to DaVinci Resolve through an MCP server, builds complete edited YouTube videos: transcribing, picking cuts, graphics and music, using a setup it built up over his last three videos. His latest video took 57 minutes, with AI showing him take options to pick from.
