His scheduled search looks 8 days to 12 weeks out for same day return flights from Stansted under £30, and checks Eurostar promo fares too. The point is the tobacco run: 200 cigarettes cost him about £150 at home and about £50 abroad, and he gets a day in a city he would not normally visit out of it.
Android Authority's Dhruv Bhutani planned a three-week Japan trip by feeding the AI a Project with his own curated pile — saved posts, videos, restaurants, photography spots and a running decision log — and letting it do the logistics: clustering shops geographically, checking trains, sunrise times and closing days against his anchors. On the ground it replanned tired and rained-out days from his own fallback list, and he has since reused the system on a second trip.
Allison Amini, a travel advisor (someone, 5.3K followers), asked whether to book now or wait for Christmas flights (LAX to SJO/Liberia, Dec 22-30). The AI’s 'Journey' asked clarifying questions, advised booking soon (fares ~$1,213 round-trip, peak demand), and with permission set a 3-hour watcher that only alerts on significant drops.
A Facebook carousel compares airfare for an ATL→FAY round trip on Oct 10–12, 2026: the AI interface lists Delta options at $358.80 with a 'Book with AI' button (nonstop outbound DL5515), while Delta's own Flexible Dates grid shows a lowest price of $549 per passenger for the same dates — a ~$190 gap on identical basic fares.
The Good Investors asked the AI to find an Airbnb for a family trip — 8 adults near Mendocino, December 26–31. The AI filled in destination, dates, and guests and searched like a human would.

X user someone had the AI file a compensation claim after a seven-hour flight delay. The agent secured a $250 airline credit and handled the rebooked flight itinerary completely on its own, with no manual steps from the user.
An X user sent the AI a photo of their credit card and the bot completed the entire flight booking on a confusing airline website, returning a booking confirmation. Elon Musk replied publicly that SpaceX would make users whole if the AI ever made a purchase mistake or leaked card details.
A Facebook screenshot shows the AI's pending-order screen: 'the AI wants to place an order at Duffel' for an American Airlines round trip, Raleigh/Durham to Dallas departing Monday Oct 19, 2026 at 11:39am nonstop and returning Friday Oct 30, 2026 at 9:35am nonstop, one passenger (Paul Armstrong), total $607.09, payable by Mastercard or Link.
A Yahoo Finance 'IN THE LOOP' segment on Facebook highlighted a tweet from Ejaaz (someone): after a 7-hour flight delay, he asked the AI to file for compensation, and within 5 minutes he had a $250 credit in his Delta account and a rebooked flight — with no prior context given.
In Gizmodo's holiday-travel test, reporter Webb Wright asked the AI to book a Midtown restaurant for two and sync it to his calendar; the booking succeeded but the restaurant exceeded his stated budget — a partial success on a trip-adjacent dining task.
