Travel creator Jorden Tually, who says trip planning is exhausting after 4,000+ days of continuous travel, demonstrated the AI on Instagram on Oct 16, 2026. He asked for a spontaneous weekend away under $500; the AI built a Washington, D.C.
A traveler planning a trip with AI booked his own flight and hotel, but Dots noticed the shuttle was missing, proposed it with the details they had discussed, and completed the booking form on its cloud computer - after asking him to confirm the same booking three separate times.
Jorden Tually (verified, 520K followers), answering a comment about visiting every country, explained he's been to 104 of 197 countries over 12 years and asked the AI for a realistic timeline. The AI interface analyzed his Instagram to determine his travel style, then generated a detailed month-by-month seasonal timeline starting in 2027 and projecting completion in December 2036, with an interactive world map showing visited countries in green and remaining in orange.
He asked the AI to write a short email to his hotel asking for a better rate. The front desk called him back and dropped the room from $330 to $240 a night, saving $90 a night, and he says the whole thing took about 30 seconds of his time.
Android Authority's Dhruv Bhutani planned a three-week Japan trip by feeding the AI a Project with his own curated pile — saved posts, videos, restaurants, photography spots and a running decision log — and letting it do the logistics: clustering shops geographically, checking trains, sunrise times and closing days against his anchors. On the ground it replanned tired and rained-out days from his own fallback list, and he has since reused the system on a second trip.
Ahead of a Nov 14 Disney cruise, he credits the AI with tracking the staggered booking milestones — excursions opening in August, online check-in, and a late-night Royal Gathering character meetup — so none of the windows are missed.
The AI rebooked the same hotel, room type, and dates at a lower rate as prices moved, saving $179. The author verified the new reservations directly with the hotel and confirms everything held.
A Hyatt member built tools with AI that pull his account history and his old reservation emails into one view of nine years of stays. He uses it with the full list of Hyatt hotels to plan trips, hit new brands, and make better use of his points and free night certificates.
Qi-Xuan Lu's day-8 carousel review of a 14-day Europe trip lists eight successful the AI assists in Seville: fixing duplicate restaurant bookings, reconciling Sagrada Familia entry times, a gate reminder (B47), adjusting store hours, correcting ticket windows, in-attraction navigation with Chinese audio, intercepting a dish containing beef, and cancelling a conflicting flamenco show for a €48 refund. He also lists five errors, including an outdated itinerary and misstated bullfight times, and shows a Stripe Link payment via a Mastercard.
€48
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
Someone had the AI book flights that required getting past a captcha. The agent booked the Alaska Airlines outbound, then found a $200 Chase deal on a JSX return flight, mixing airlines to save money.
