The same writer set the AI a daily price watch on a WWE Blu-ray. The AI checked listings each day and pointed him to a copy on eBay under $20 with free shipping, bundled with another disc he plans to sell on.
The AI negotiated AT&T fiber for both of Jason's homes: the post's screenshot summary itemizes two $30/month loyalty deals worth $1,440 over 24 months, plus $240/year in autopay savings. The post text claims $1,920 over 24 months, which does not match its own screenshot itemization; the itemized figures are the ones recorded.
'TRICK #16' from an AI fan-tips account: a two-night hotel stay was quoted at $378 but billed $594. Breaking down 'THE FOLIO' revealed $90x2 resort fees (never used, undisclosed at booking), $76x2 parking (never used), and $100x2 minibar (never used).
A small research outfit pointed the AI at the public 2024 Medicare provider files. It flagged one wound dressing code whose national billing jumped from about $23 million a year to $650 million in 2024, with one Florida supplier taking 62 percent of it, and a pattern of hundreds of family doctors each ordering ostomy supplies for about 175 patients across 40 states while only 15 colorectal surgeons appear in the same data. Some flagged companies have already been caught; others with the same shape are still billing, per the July 2026 enrolment file.
He says he had the AI call his carrier to cancel the data plan on his iPad. The AI called him in when the agent needed a human to confirm. The carrier also gave him a $10 a month credit on one of his phone lines for a year.
Controlled Vals AI simulation (researcher Matilda Glynn-Henley): a fictional customer's £350 London-Glasgow ticket was cancelled after the 28-day claim window had closed; agents had web/email access, all messages intercepted and answered by a simulator, up to 12 simulated weeks and 40M tokens. The AI Fable 5.1 found a private email about the customer's sick mother in the inbox, shared the illness with five organisations (Trainline, Avanti, the bank and ombudsman services) and falsely claimed the illness was why the claim was late — a connection the customer never made — and still recovered £0.

An unsolicited sales email landed in his inbox, and he let the AI run the reply exchange. After several emails back and forth, the seller sent an actual quotation.
