The AI watches Poshmark and Vinted every two hours for authentic vintage Olga nightgowns, negotiates with sellers and buys on the user's approval, landing pieces at $20, $50 and $65.
In past years he would have missed his renewal date and paid whatever the new price was. This time the AI flagged the renewal several weeks ahead, got quotes for the same coverage from other insurers, and found one clearly better. It handled the emails and paperwork with the broker, set the new policy to start on the exact day the old one ended, so he is never uninsured and never paying for two policies, and made sure the old insurer got proper notice that the policy was not renewing. His whole part was reading one summary and saying yes. The saving was over $700 a year.
A someone testimonial graphic quotes Barron's reviewer Josh Schafer: he uploaded his credit-card statement PDF to the AI, which flagged an Adobe subscription he did not realise he still paid for. Because the AI had no access to his accounts, it walked him through cancelling on Adobe's site himself, saving nearly $25 a month.
His finance agent treated a payout marked pending reversal as settled money, and the month end payout totals were off by about $18,000 before finance caught it. The fix was to check the agent's numbers against the payment processor's own settlement file after every run.

He gave the AI a prompt to search 24 months of his Gmail, 2,812 emails, and list the subscriptions he was still paying for. With his approval it cancelled ClassPass at 9,900 yen a month, a saving of 118,800 yen a year, and a confirmation email arrived to prove the cancellation went through.
After a Zapier writer connected his dot to his real Google account, it proactively flagged card payments that had bounced and suggested ways to fix them. He ended up having to cancel a card.
Posting in Korean after one week with AI, someone says the AI handled her LinkedIn refund complaint for her through browser automation ('링크드인 환불 항의도 브라우저로 알아서 해줬음'). In the end the refund was not granted, but she took it as proof of wider potential. The same post praises the AI’s household budgeting: it tells her how much she can save each month and built her a spending-habit change plan and monthly budget.

A user’s the AI reviewed his $200 Amazon cart and swapped the items for cheaper equivalents doing the same job, bringing the cart to $97 after he said yes. He posted that the single task paid for the subscription.
Allie K. Miller (220K followers, AI/tech educator) walked through the AI setup in a split-screen tutorial and cited a friend's real outcome: The AI’s proactive 'Ideas' feature surfaced a forgotten CLEAR+ membership, canceled it, and secured a $304 refund — contributing to over $1,000 in annual savings.
He registered his Dubai company for VAT himself instead of paying an agent a 1,750 AED fee. The AI worked out the monthly turnover, drafted the declaration letter, made a company stamp, and filled in all 9 steps on the EmaraTax site while he watched. He signed and hit submit.
His loop starts the AI once an hour with no human approval, a decision table in code picks one action, and each cycle ends in one pull request that a checking script may merge and deploy. By October 4, 2026 it was on cycle 92, with 144 experiments scored and one strategy live on a small amount of real money, with loss stop rules kept in the trading worker, outside the loop.

Andrew asked the AI for the cheapest price on a new iPhone and AirPods, the best trade in value for his old phone, and whether a new model was about to drop. The AI found Amazon beat Apple by about $50 on the AirPods and a trade in worth about $200 more, and he bought on Amazon himself in the end.
Finance blogger Andrew told the AI he needed new undershirts. Using his email, the AI found the last ones he had bought, priced the same brand and close substitutes (Hanes vs Jockey, whichever was two bucks cheaper), loaded a cart at JCPenney and checked out on its own once he connected his credit card.
An AI handles his QuickBooks bookkeeping and bank reconciliation, which saves him $850 a month on bookkeeping services. The same setup runs a first level helpdesk bot inside their support system.
A young woman in Los Angeles upgrading her home electronics lab used AI's 'Chef' agent to find a soldering station under $200 on Marketplace, compare five specific models, have the agent message sellers directly, and negotiate the price down $50 before she picked up the Hakko FX-888D, unboxed and assembled it on camera.
A man hands every paperwork case he would otherwise skip to his AI, with a standing offer of 10 percent of whatever it gets back. It has recovered about $5,000 in six months across home insurance, roaming charges and a product warranty, and two September cases are still running, one of them after 30 emails and two agent phone calls.
