His company paid $180 a month for five seats on SmartSuite, the tool holding their documents and HR files. He built a replacement with AI that fits their exact needs, can grow to thousands of users, and will cost less than $30 a month to run.
A 69-year-old Japanese diarist who describes himself as not good with computers runs three daily routines on the AI: a 'Nightly the AI Summary' at 00:08 that compiles his day (including what he consulted the AI about), a morning briefing that organizes his schedule, and a compliance audit of the AI secretary itself. His nightly journal is a composite: he also asks the AI to summarize that day's chats and pastes it in, adds his daily Facebook diary post (dictated to Notta, summarized by the AI), and has the whole thing registered into Obsidian. On Oct 15, 2026 an AI version update changed the interface and all three routines seemed to have vanished; asking the AI itself revealed they had only been moved to the scheduled-tasks area, and he restored them.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
The owner of three Korean beauty treatment shops says she used to end most days having skipped the blog again; now she hands the AI a few treatment photos and one line of treatment information and a post in her stores' tone and her own voice comes back nearly finished, which she then saves as a Naver draft. Posting frequency is visibly up, the setup handles the recurring work, and she now teaches the same sequence to her staff.
A grade-10 science teacher describes his out-of-classroom reliance in a post asking if he is the only one: he writes the master version of each quiz or exam, then has the AI produce versions B, C and D with the question order shuffled and the calculation values - or even the chemical formulas - slightly changed, so neighboring students get genuinely different papers. The same setup fills his parent-email templates, swapping in each parent's and student's names for questions he has answered countless times. He double-checks everything before it goes out.
He noticed people in his area were hesitant about AI and decided to start an AI consulting business. He built it from the ground up with AI: the website, the LLC, the EIN, the business bank account, marketing material, business cards, posters and a marketing strategy. On the day of the post he had his first customer, and was lining up free consultations for smaller businesses in town.
In 'A Month with AI', the MBI Deep Dives author writes that the AI filled out forms with five auto insurance carriers from his details and showed him quotes; switching at the same coverage saved $1,530 per year. He then set the AI to repeat the shop every five months, ahead of each six-month renewal, indefinitely.
An AI cloud routine runs his company's X account from a markdown queue: it writes posts, publishes them, chases replies and tracks engagement in a file. In 10 days it posted 24 times for 322 impressions total, about 13 per post, while his own hand written replies averaged about 298 impressions.

His SightRead.org project uses the MusGlyphs font, but glyphs he needed were missing, and editing the font by hand was so off putting that his releases slowed down. The AI added the glyphs he needed with little handholding, then went back and fixed his own hand made glyphs with consistent spacing and no warnings.
Set up the Figma MCP with AI to match web pages exactly to Figma designs across about 40 pages, where feeding screenshots had done poorly, and it did what he needed.
A church volunteer runs a weekly hybrid workflow: The AI translates six Chinese daily spiritual messages (Monday–Saturday) into structured JSON under strict rules — Bible quotations in NASB 2020 rather than translated, hymns left untranslated, ministry terminology matched — then Python inserts the text into a PowerPoint template, merges a bilingual twelve-message deck, and converts it to HTML for the church website. He keeps theological review, visual checks and final publishing approval human on purpose.
