Laid off two weeks ago, he spent the time finishing the poker site his friend group had wanted for years

His poker group has played together since high school. During Covid they played on a website that later shut down, and there was no good replacement for friends who just want a game of Texas hold'em online. He started building his own with AI while playing with the group, and after he was laid off from his database engineering job he spent two weeks going full time on it: front end, logins, authentication and stats. It is live in beta and free while he waits for his bank to approve that it is not a gambling website.

One person runs an online game key store with about a dozen AI sessions

A solo founder runs his game key store with about a dozen AI sessions, one each for code, pricing, copy, bookkeeping and suppliers. They stay in sync through a shared record where facts are only ever added, each fact says whether a session confirmed it or just read it somewhere, and his decisions go into a numbered ledger the sessions look up instead of asking him again.

Cline cleanup command hit the wrong drive and deleted about 1.5 TB of a family's photos and files

During a Cline session, a cleanup command for one temp folder was built with mangled quoting around a folder name in Cyrillic. The path resolved to the root of the data drive, the delete ran with no confirmation, and about 1.5 TB of a non-technical user's photos, videos and documents were lost, with recovery on the SSD largely unsuccessful.

This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.

Listed a house for rent on Marketplace and got it rented in

Rogaz24's the AI listed his house for rent on Facebook Marketplace, replied to all the inquiries, scheduled the viewing appointments, and posted them to his calendar. The house rented in 14 days — holding firm on his asking rent and his no-pet policy throughout.

One owner, three organizations, and the AI doing the office work in Spanish

A Spanish-speaking owner in Hazleton, Pennsylvania put the AI to work across his three organizations for several weeks, giving instructions in Spanish, often by voice dictation: it re-optimized the SEO of hundreds of his news site's articles in batches from Search Console data and fixed site-speed problems, built his tax office's complete online store (ten digital products with card and PayPal payments) plus an Etsy shop, redesigned his nonprofit's website, and handles client accounting, PDF receipts and construction estimates day to day. Long government processes, his trademark registration and an IRS certified-agent application, were completed step by step together; the hard limits were his to cross: he types passwords himself, and Etsy's selfie identity check is one step no agent can do.
