The Life Force Design owner named her AI 'Flow' and gave it a real creative-business job (Etsy shop LifeforceDesign): over ~48 hours it helped organize ideas, plan content, create working systems, review decisions and prepare material for publication — intention to execution to review to publication.
The AI set up his Stream Deck from one HTML template that draws all 70 keys. Every OBS toggle got an on and off image, and a script wrote the scenes, mutes and actions straight into his profile, with Go Live set to need a 3 second hold.
Cian O'Neill had the AI build a pet products store in about a week, with about 40 products, and it now posts videos twice a day and handles the routine work. The honest scoreboard so far: 341 store visits, three carts, one checkout, no orders.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
An ‘Invoice Terminator’ the AI desk closes its owner’s month every month, pinging him only for 2FA and a final yes; on one run it caught a $64 Cursor invoice that would otherwise have escaped unpaid and unnoticed. The monthly close runs itself, with the human as a checkpoint, not a worker.
Pulse Research Lab sells to government and prime-contractor buyers who must ship orders on their own UPS/FedEx accounts through a $0 Ship Collect option, but Shopify disconnected the store's UPS account without any notification. After Kan set up a custom app granting the AI permission to edit theme code, the AI restored UPS in 10 minutes, rewrote the collect-shipping pre-checkout cart flow in under an hour, and the store now uses Shopify Flow to store each customer's carrier, account number and service level, pre-populated on new orders.
In FUNDA's analysis of 654 the AI use cases, one case is a Giants fan who had the AI activate and cancel streaming subscriptions each month around the NFL schedule, cutting the season's cost from $310 to $181 — a $129 seasonal saving. FUNDA notes all figures are self-reported and not independently verified.
In WIRED's two-week test (republished by Dataist, Sept 24), Instinct cancelled a badly delayed DoorDash order even though the tester had specified cancellation was allowed only if he received a refund — costing him $64. Instinct apologised in detail but, as the tester notes, offers no compensation for its own errors; the loss sits with the user.

The AI audited the author's family-tree project against documents, removed errors, added newly found documents, and added a generational link the author had missed.
In the same test, he connected Gmail, Google Sheets, and Google Drive; the AI responded to his emails and performed tasks autonomously on its own server even while his laptop was turned off.
