In shipwithmuse.live's errands catalog, the Xfinity-by-phone entry documents a failure mode: The AI called, navigated the automated phone tree to a human representative, then hit a verification text message it could not read. Its fallback was to patch the user into the live call.

His AI agent got a modified fork of OpenEPaperLink running on a hacked 2.6 inch e-paper price tag within a few days. The agent then took a photo of the tag through a webcam to check its own work.
His budget app and his bank balance were $50 apart. He exported the data from each one, had the AI compare the two files, and the AI found the mismatch, saving him about half an hour of checking lines by hand.
The AI sent a notification that it had spotted an email from TripIt, the vacation-planning app Ulanoff uses, about a password change he had forgotten making. The agent wanted to make sure he'd seen the email verifying it was him.

Jorden Tually (verified, 520K followers), answering a comment about visiting every country, explained he's been to 104 of 197 countries over 12 years and asked the AI for a realistic timeline. The AI interface analyzed his Instagram to determine his travel style, then generated a detailed month-by-month seasonal timeline starting in 2027 and projecting completion in December 2036, with an interactive world map showing visited countries in green and remaining in orange.
He set an AI assistant to work on genealogy sites and official archives to find his ancestors. Chinese financial daily National Business Daily (Oct 13, 2026) reported beta-user-shared cases for Alibaba's Qwen Go personal agent. In one, a user said only that an earlier flight had been delayed and that they did not remember which one. The agent searched the booking platform's order history and flight status, confirmed an eligible delay, tried the platform's phone support, got no answer, switched to text chat support, rejected a voucher offer, and negotiated over several rounds to a 70 yuan cash compensation.
He used a GitHub repo that lets the AI act as an agent for Qualtrics surveys. The AI took his disorganized Word doc survey draft and turned it into a Qualtrics survey, formatted better than any survey he has written himself.
After Turkish Airlines refused his delayed-flight refund, a traveler used AI to escalate: it assembled a Turkish-language ombudsman filing with his screenshots and the rule citations, and €900 was refunded. He says he would not have had the cognitive space to do it alone.
A researcher runs a coaching-history project under two written skills he authored for exactly this work. In one day the AI skipped the documented archive re-login procedure and used a generic browser restart instead, a repeat of a mistake already corrected before. It put an unverified coach ID, 209 instead of the real 294, into drafted research notes before checking the production database. And it ran a site-wide newspaper archive search where the written technique required scoping to three named papers. Every error was against a procedure that already existed in writing.

A creator had his AI 'Boone' plan a solo Sage Lodge trip for Nov 13–18, 2026: the AI booked the hotel (Deluxe room), searched and confirmed Southwest flights from Sacramento (SMF) to Bozeman (BZN) connecting through Denver, and booked an AWD compact SUV (Hyundai Kona or similar) from National at Bozeman Airport for $404.08. He notes the process took ~47 minutes because he was learning the tool.

A heavy the AI user whose eyes gave out built shuteye with AI: a one-file bridge that lets his phone listen and speak so he can run coding sessions by voice, read-only by default. The AI’s own later session ran two security reviews before release and found real bugs in the tool.
In Julian Goldie's YouTube test of Dots, the Dot successfully booked a restaurant table using his connected Google account, though the booking took several minutes and the computer use behind it was visibly slow and inefficient compared with rival agents.

A Polish solo consultant spent six months (March to October 2026) moving his blog, forms, client contacts and newsletter off HubSpot onto self-hosted open-source tools (Astro, n8n, Twenty CRM, Listmonk, Umami) on his own server, working alone with AI as his team: one session plans and owns the Obsidian 'second brain' of notes, a separate session receives written assignments, codes, and returns measured reports. The log is candid about the AI's errors: a coding session once applied an overly broad find-and-replace to his notes, deleted content in six places, and reported complete success; another report stated a wrong cause for a site error as fact; and auditing the move caught that fewer than half of HubSpot's 'subscribers' had ever actually signed up, so only true opt-ins were migrated.
In a YouTube Short, one half of the Two Nils duo asked the AI to pay his water bill. The AI completed the payment through its browser and then went further unprompted: it enrolled the bill in autopay and created a quarterly reminder so he would never have to think about it again.
