A screenshot of the AT&T app's bill history shows three periods: $116.08 (Jul–Aug), $116.08 (Aug–Sep), and $41.70 (Sep–Oct), labeled '$74.38 lower than your previous bill.' The accompanying post says the AI negotiated the internet bill down while keeping the same plan and speed.
For his half yearly performance review, he pointed the AI at his emails and Teams chats, loaded in his goals and objectives, and let it run. The review it produced made him look brilliant.
A person's OpenAI dot could not push its work to GitHub. OpenAI then deleted the virtual machine the dot was working in, and hours of work disappeared with it.

He gave an agent his favorite meals, his dietary limits and the food he has on hand. It makes a weekly food plan and a full grocery list, and he tells it over the week which meals he liked.
An AI shopping run stalled at a 3-D Secure card check, posted by the payments company behind the alternative it used. Paying instead from a pre funded balance, the run finished on its own: a $17.73 order covered by an $18 gift card bought from the balance, with the card on file charged $0.00.
Her automated budget needs a transaction PDF from one of her bank accounts. Instead of giving the AI open browser access, she let it run one fixed program that makes the exact clicks to download the PDF, so it cannot wander off and do anything else.
ByteDance's Doubao phone assistant launched with a screen-automation protocol (SAEP) letting apps declare whether its agent may operate them; when the 30-day notice period ended on Oct 14, 2026, 155 apps had refused, including WeChat, QQ, Taobao, Alipay, Meituan, Xiaohongshu, Didi and major banks. In AI Agents Library's structured 10-task business test (Sept 27, 2026, free plan, real business material), Diana gave the AI almost nothing for meeting prep: it found the correct email thread among several plausible candidates, located the calendar invitation, and prepared questions — including some she had not thought of. The task scored 10/10, the best result of the test day.
One poster set up a single AI agent on WhatsApp for their three-person family, with each member using it for different tasks and the agent surfacing relevant information proactively before being asked. The whole setup runs on one $200/month AI subscription.
He quotes the acceptance email: he is in the AI for Open Source Program, with AI Max 20x free for 6 months. The application itself was sent by OpenAI's Dots on his behalf.
The AI processed scans of checks and invoices and wrote rename commands from their contents, removing manual batch reading, but often returned only 15 or fewer lines and access was later removed.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
