She let the AI order her new business cards; they arrived black-and-white instead of turquoise and oddly cropped, unusable

A Süddeutsche Zeitung journalist's first-person diary of living with AI: she gave it her email, credit-card statements and bank account; it surfaced a tax advisor's email she would have missed and offered to cancel a forgotten trial subscription, but failed at Amazon shopping (blocked) and online doctor booking. Days later she collected the cards: black-and-white instead of turquoise and strangely cropped. Not usable.

Send my resume to jobs for me — service sent 150 applications full of invented facts about me

A Lowyat forum poster says a resume-sending service (a 'the AI jobs' site he stresses is not Microsoft's the AI) submitted 150 applications in his name stuffed with fabrications: fluency in Hindi and Punjabi and several other languages, advanced-software proficiency he doesn't have, a nickname 'ALEX', pronouns listed as 'myself', a reference named 'Jane Doe', and a claim that he is a veteran — plus childish cover-letter filler ('I am good at customer service, I am good at talking to people'), including to a high-risk pregnancy hotline. He calls the result absolutely humiliating.

Describe someone else's financial document to me

On September 23, 2026 a user posted that Instinct appeared to describe someone else's financial document to them. Founder Noah Shinn responded the same day that the model had fabricated a proper noun — a hallucination, not a data breach — and that the team built a hallucination detection layer within 48 hours.
