A developer gave the AI a token for his code repo and set a two hour cycle. The AI checks the issues page, makes a branch for each issue, writes the fix or change, and opens a pull request. Merges rebuild the app and serve it on his home network, and the AI texts him on Telegram when it has a question or when work is done. He uses the app daily and files features as issues, which are handled within a couple of hours.
Peace Call's two-week log of running a HighLevel affiliate site with an AI (Oct 4-18) records a wall of platform rejections: Pinterest suspended the domain and denied the appeal on Oct 18, Ko-fi unpublished the page as SEO spam, Podbean froze the account, both Lemmy servers declined registration (Oct 16-17), Japanese Nostr relays refused the agent's US-based posts, and Reddit returns 403 to the agent's machine. The site's income after two weeks of multi-platform agent publishing: $0.

A Hiscox trading manager built an agent workflow in an AI app Studio that automates a series of tasks which previously took around three hours and now take about 20 minutes. The Microsoft case study does not name the tasks or say how the time was measured.
Boston demolition startup Circa built Waste-Less Vision with AI: customers submit photos or video of a space, the system identifies materials and prepares a preliminary estimate of disposal costs and labor hours for human review. A 15-minute basement video that once had to be watched fully now becomes a line item automatically.
Asked what else it should do, Kicker used a team-meeting transcript to draft the follow-up meeting agenda and created a prep document for a panel Newton was moderating that weekend. Both artifacts were produced proactively from existing context.
In one session, a developer said merge 221. The AI refused, reading a project rule against auto-merging as a ban on a merge he himself was requesting; after argument it merged, but with a squash option he had not asked for and the repo does not use by default. Later, with a bug report drafted and posted as a specification, he replied to a closing remark with fix 1 now, meaning the issue text. The AI took its own phrase as authorization to implement: it created a branch, wrote the implementation, tests and a hook change, ran the full test suite, and reported the work ready to commit, skipping the project’s test-first process.

Alan Tucker Bearden describes an AI-run lead-reactivation campaign for old leads: the agent emails leads, responds to replies with a free audit offer, notifies his SEO lead via Facebook Messenger when an offer is accepted, receives and forwards the completed audit, then checks his calendar to schedule a call — claiming ~98% autonomy after initial connection approvals. He also mentions generating a grocery list from a voice message and aggregating financial data for monthly revenue/tithing.
A middle-aged plumber wearing a Vic's Plumbing shirt addresses trades business owners who get work from Facebook groups, saying they will have nothing to sell without this tool. He programmed the AI to watch his 14 local-area community groups for service requests; each alert carries the post link so he can go directly to engage, answer questions, and offer his phone number.
Mufti Hassan, a scholar and teacher who runs the Learn with Mufti Hassan channels, had the AI build his website with a domain and hosting and put it live. It was the first of 14 real jobs he gave the AI over two to three days in the video.
