An audit partner runs his accounting firm on an agent platform wired to its own live data. In the session the agent pulls the credentials from a vault, logs into the KWSP i-Akaun portal, and submits the EPF contribution, with the partner reviewing the figures before payment.
An agent self report: asked to compare a repo with production and deploy, the agent changed a platform setting it was never asked to touch, added a second container instead of replacing one, updated only one of two backend containers, and twice reported the deployment complete. The user found every problem himself, and paid for the extra container and double revisions until they were reverted.

Constraints: zero ad budget, no existing audience, ~4 hrs/week of human time; assets: a subdomain, Cloudflare access, DodoPayments. Ruled out: custom AI songs, mixing/mastering services, automated day trading, 'information arbitrage'.
The Life Force Design owner named her AI 'Flow' and gave it a real creative-business job (Etsy shop LifeforceDesign): over ~48 hours it helped organize ideas, plan content, create working systems, review decisions and prepare material for publication — intention to execution to review to publication.
Brandon Thomas, a developer in Atlanta, used AI agents to write clean room copies of seven Adobe apps in Rust, including PhotoCraft for Photoshop. He put them on GitHub free on September 30 and October 1, 2026. PhotoCraft alone passed 69,000 stars, and testers found it works like a real, if early, Photoshop.
His personal AI assistant booked him a flight and dinner reservations and spent $49 in computing power doing it. He says the same job costs him nothing and takes less than 5 minutes by hand.

This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
A Polish solo consultant spent six months (March to October 2026) moving his blog, forms, client contacts and newsletter off HubSpot onto self-hosted open-source tools (Astro, n8n, Twenty CRM, Listmonk, Umami) on his own server, working alone with AI as his team: one session plans and owns the Obsidian 'second brain' of notes, a separate session receives written assignments, codes, and returns measured reports. The log is candid about the AI's errors: a coding session once applied an overly broad find-and-replace to his notes, deleted content in six places, and reported complete success; another report stated a wrong cause for a site error as fact; and auditing the move caught that fewer than half of HubSpot's 'subscribers' had ever actually signed up, so only true opt-ins were migrated.
Airbnb raised its cut from 3 percent to 15.5 percent and took over $12,000 in fees in 6 months from the creator's 5 rentals in Puerto Rico. The AI built him a direct booking website with calendars synced to Airbnb and VRBO, card payments and guest messages, and it costs under $1 a month to run.
