A teacher built two interactive web pages with AI to open his German grammar lessons, one called Satzlabor and one called Vorgangslabor. He used both in class and says both were well received.
A Purdue professor built Docable, a working tool that turns PowerPoint, Word and PDF files into accessible versions for new disability rules. The AI and the AI helped him create a codebase of about half a million lines in a few months, and his talk explains the checking method he uses so agents can validate their own work.
Commenting on the 26 use cases post, he says he uses AI to find and apply to jobs. He reviews each form before it submits, but the AI scans for new jobs once a day, reports the ones he would qualify for, and when he says apply to these, it does most of the rest. It remembers his preferences, like salary range. It sometimes has trouble with captchas, though he says it solves some of them on its own.
The AI modernized a 22-year-old legacy system, updating dependencies, auditing security and adding features, raising test coverage from about 65 percent to about 80 percent.
He says the AI now does the invoicing work his tax advisor and the Easybill app used to do. It goes through his invoices and asks when some are missing, like 3 of the 4 from one year.
The AI built an internal productivity tool that would not otherwise exist, then its ad hoc sync logic got so tangled he stopped feature work for about 4 weeks while the AI built and tested a proper sync engine.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
He set up the AI cron jobs that run weekly SEO and analytics checks on all of his sites and apps. He says the checks are working well and keep him consistent.
A site owner pointed the AI at his site sublunar.space for an hour. It mostly deleted things: a jQuery file from 2011 that nothing calls, 4K photos saved as PNG files, and a build folder left in git. The cleanup cut 73,657 lines and about 23 MB of images.
He has edited his podcast Rebuild by hand for years, and nearly everything after importing the recordings was manual. For the latest episode, the AI reverse engineered Logic Pro's ProjectData file so the editing could be automated, and the agent did most of the edit.
