When the tool he wanted was not on the AI’s connector list, he had the AI build the link itself. The AI took his Linear API key into secure storage, built a connector that can list teams, search and create issues and update their status, then checked it worked with an identity check. He says the same route works for any service with an API.
Spent half a day switching GPT-5.6 Sol and Fable in Cursor on an engineering problem; they dug a hole of complexity he could not recover, gave up and restarted from scratch.
This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.
His role was cut on Tuesday morning. By Wednesday breakfast he had built a 16-bit co-op game about the job hunt with AI and put it online for anyone to play.
He kept finding papers months late, so he set up a weekly digest with AI. It pulls new papers from Europe PMC, bioRxiv, and Crossref, filters them by his keywords, and puts them on one page every Monday.
He runs about 15 apps and sites and could not keep track of what needed doing. He connected the AI to his app through MCP, and the AI now creates tasks and subtasks, writes notes, and shows him what is needed by priority and due date.
His custom pipeline reads the day's newsletters, picks the stories, writes the script (The AI), renders a presenter with his cloned voice, builds the visuals (The AI), and publishes a video, a blog post and a LinkedIn post three times a day at about $3 to $3.50 an episode. Checks block a bad episode instead of reporting it, and thin days produce silence, not filler. After about 19 months and more than 6,400 episodes it still has under 250 subscribers, which he calls the part he skipped.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
Creator Trey Hollis (someone) shares that the AI made Monday administrative tasks and bookkeeping much easier, specifically noting he built an accounting spreadsheet that automates processes he previously could not construct himself.
Environmental consultancy Verdantas runs proposal development, contract management and collaboration agents on the AI Studio. Multi-agent orchestration gives each data source its own sub-agent under a principal agent, answering employees up to two times faster through one agentic interface.
He asked his AI to edit an entire video and it did the work, from picking the takes to lowering the music in the quiet parts. The video is the third in his series about building his toolstack with an agent.
