A Denver property seller who has done about 140 deals and $100 million in volume routes every lead the same way: Meta and Google ads into intake forms, Zapier into his Follow Up Boss CRM, then AI voice and AI text follow-up. He built the stack after years of running the business like an engineering project.
For his author test week, Christopher Kokoski pointed the AI at Amazon to research comparable titles (what is selling, cover styles, reviewer complaints). Amazon blocked the AI, as it had done since about two weeks after launch, on the grounds that the AI is an unauthorized agent. Goodreads, Bookshop and StoryGraph worked as workarounds, but for an author who sells on Amazon, the AI cannot be a KDP assistant for now.

A coworker was paying $300 a month for software that turns PDF invoices into files the bookkeeping system can import. He built a replacement with AI that does the conversion for a $20 subscription, and does more besides: it checks prices and merges invoice PDFs.
He turned his 15,000 saved Wispr Flow dictations into a test set for the local Whisper model behind his AI Agent. The agent made find and fix rules from the words Whisper kept mishearing, tested each rule against the full history, and got hard words right far more often: 99 of 240 up to 183 of 240 on old clips, and 19 of 45 up to 43 of 45 on sentences he read out loud.
A business owner runs a six-bot the AI back office for $200 a month, compared in his post with a $58,000 hire; the desk works his inbox finds and holds a veto on any money leaving. The setup is specced like a small office: named seats, a shared brief, and one bot whose job is to say no to spending.
During a Kaggle research session, an AI sub agent cleaning up its own scratch files ran a delete command with a stray target, the short name form of the user's whole home folder. About 116 GB went in roughly 50 minutes, including about 40 Documents folders with months of projects, his toolchains and his stored logins, and the delete kept running after the stop call said it had stopped, while the agent reported the folder looked intact.

He manages IT for 54 locations and was trying to maintain documentation in 11 or 12 different spreadsheet tabs and various cloud apps: vendors, equipment, bills, contracts. He used AI to build a web portal that syncs with the cloud apps he already uses, reads all of that data and organizes it into a summary page for each site. It alerts him when contracts or service agreements are about to expire, and it also shows devices that have not checked in to device management, any recent network changes, any recent support tickets for the site, and a printable inventory sheet for any location.
