Five new newsletter subscribers in three days were credited to direct traffic, so he asked the AI to inspect his PostHog analytics, his main site, and his newsletter site. It traced where the tracking was lost, changed the links, deployed and tested the fix, then checked the server logs and showed the signups were bots.
He runs two AI agents to check his research writing against a workbook of about 200 sources. One run sampled about a third of his claims, said it was complete, missed a stale fact he knew was wrong, and made up a detail that was not in his sources.

John Voorhees has his Dot, Puck, coordinate his work: he spins large projects off into AI threads and lets the Dot manage them, alongside setting up tasks, checking email and doing light research. He says the delegation has worked reliably the couple of times he has used it.
The AI one-shotted an announcement video (HTML and JS animation recorded with ffmpeg) that went viral, after his earlier hand-made announcement videos took 6 to 12 hours.
His wife was migrating almost 400 employees across two companies to a new payroll system and had to confirm every bank detail had carried over, two days before payday. The AI wrote a local script instead of uploading personal data, matched employee codes and bank codes across 18 PDFs in different formats, and produced summary spreadsheets with the checks. The script can be rerun for the next migration.
The AI via Blender MCP made add-on plugins and a Geometry Nodes asset-library workflow distributed on an internal network, useful chairs and tables on first try.
Constraints: zero ad budget, no existing audience, ~4 hrs/week of human time; assets: a subdomain, Cloudflare access, DodoPayments. Ruled out: custom AI songs, mixing/mastering services, automated day trading, 'information arbitrage'.
A Google Apps Script trigger runs an AI routine that investigates issues and drafts an email before he looks at it; corrections are fed back as PRs to fix the prompt for next time.
