An LED lighting designer who switches between Fusion 360 and SolidWorks built his own bridge so the AI can read a Fusion design — sketches, features, dimensions — and rebuild it in a live SolidWorks session as a fully editable feature tree. Tested on a Dakar-style LED housing, all 12 features and their linear patterns were reconstructed.
A scripting skill picks his best idea and writes what he will say. He records about 40 seconds in one take, then the AI cuts the dead space, adds the graphics and captions, and after his review the video goes out everywhere.
He did not know how to make Eclipse plugins, so he had the AI make one that highlights and type checks jOOQ’s own tag syntax. It took a single prompt, and the plugin already works.
He had about 250 old newsletters sitting on beehiiv doing nothing. He fed them to the AI, had it turn them into blog posts, and the blog is now live with Google already sending readers to it, giving him a new funnel in a couple of hours.
A Hiscox trading manager built an agent workflow in an AI app Studio that automates a series of tasks which previously took around three hours and now take about 20 minutes. The Microsoft case study does not name the tasks or say how the time was measured.
He resells Amazon liquidation pallets on Facebook Marketplace. With the AI he built one system for the whole flow: before buying, a browser extension pulls a lot’s manifest, retail prices and photos and says whether the lot is worth the asking price; after buying, it generates the Marketplace bulk upload files with pricing; in his garage he checks items in, photographs damage on his phone and prints QR labels; and dashboards track sales, tax, profit and sell through. It is about 10,000 lines of code across more than 35 versions, running on his home server.
Environmental consultancy Verdantas runs proposal development, contract management and collaboration agents on the AI Studio. Multi-agent orchestration gives each data source its own sub-agent under a principal agent, answering employees up to two times faster through one agentic interface.
Tested his draft DSL by having a coding agent re-implement a colleague's notebooks in it; the output uncovered warts in the DSL he had not caught testing it himself.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
A man with no coding experience used AI to generate a VBA script in Excel. The script fixed a manual data entry gap at his work and took the risk of typos and misreads out of the job.
SPLIT 1 of 1 taken: Fable wrote a Python program that solved a hard board routing problem for his hardware product (firmware diagnosis episode in same comment skipped, analysis only).
Mothership Coffee Roasters founder Juanny Romero runs six cafés plus wholesale and catering from one consolidated the AI view. Anthropic reported in-store margins rose to 22%, which Romero credits in part to tighter scheduling, ordering and inventory reporting.
Answering a how are you making money thread, he says a piece of business software he used does one thing and does it badly. With the AI’s help he built a piece of software that does the same thing better, with the features he always wanted. It took a lot of bug testing and had many errors at first, but it was done in two weeks. His version costs him $50 a year in server costs instead of $150 a month, saving about $1,750 a year.
A man bought a used piece of industrial machinery and the $1,500 control software did not come with it. With no coding experience at all, he asked the AI on the web to build a control app, and in under an hour he had a working app packaged as a .deb file for Linux. It cost him nothing because he used his brother's AI subscription.
He built a setup that links the AI with Photoshop to handle a work task that is too fiddly to call simple. When a request came in from a client, the setup did the work and he delivered it so fast the client said they had expected it to take about 2 weeks.
