Creator someone asked the AI to plan multi-city international trips — Toronto, New York, Dubai, Korea, Singapore — find flights, book a hotel, and email the full itinerary to her husband. Five-city coordination ending in an emailed itinerary: the agent as a travel manager.
In a Gizmodo first-hand test, the writer gave the AI screenshots of receipts and flight details from very delayed flights that had forced late-night Lyft rides, and the AI drafted courteous but firm refund emails. Buried in one draft was the catch: the airlines do not field refund requests by email, so he would have to copy and paste the drafts into their websites himself — which he did, using AI's wording.

Planning a family holiday in Florida, Eric opened a voice call with Jarvis about skydiving availability. By the end they had worked through airport pickup, three jumpers split across two aircraft loads, two boys waiting on the ground, drive time and the rental check-in, and slotted the jump into otherwise dead travel-transition time. When he pushed back on an early Everglades start, the plan moved and the shareable itinerary updated with it.
Nina Dobrev asked the AI to track flight prices from 4 cities ($7,472.74 total) and build a 10-day Rome itinerary for her girls' trip. Multi-origin price tracking plus a full itinerary — group-trip planning with real numbers.
In the same Vergecast clip, a host describes the AI connected to his Google Calendar: seeing a media dinner party in his evening, the AI advised taking a city bike instead of the subway because it would be faster, and pinged him at 9:20 to leave in time for a 9:30 arrival. The hosts frame it as the AI being proactive to the point of feeling directive.
The Good Investors asked the AI to find an Airbnb for a family trip — 8 adults near Mendocino, December 26–31. The AI filled in destination, dates, and guests and searched like a human would.

A traveller's the AI checked him in for his flight automatically as soon as check-in opened. It told him his boarding group and sent him his boarding pass, with nothing for him to remember or open.
A Yahoo Finance 'IN THE LOOP' segment on Facebook highlighted a tweet from Ejaaz (someone): after a 7-hour flight delay, he asked the AI to file for compensation, and within 5 minutes he had a $250 credit in his Delta account and a rebooked flight — with no prior context given.
Type-B traveler Chelsea used her AI 'Sir Wiggles' (penguin avatar) to scan hundreds of saved Instagram posts, extract everything saved from Sardinia, and generate an itinerary — converting scattered saved content into a trip plan for the Sardinia leg of a month-long Italy trip.
