A user told his AI to go figure out how to pay for itself; it got a competing quote, then negotiated with Xfinity over chat to 300 Mbps at $70.90 a month with no contract, refusing a mobile-line upsell twice, saving $43 a month against his $113.90 October bill. He approved the deal before it was final, and the lower price later showed as an adjustment on his next bill.
An AppleVis user had the AI file missing American Airlines mileage-shopping claims for two Best Buy purchases made during a tax holiday, pulling receipt data from Gmail. The user got the confirmation email that the claims were filed.
A man was paying about $30 a month to RocketMoney and the AI just to find subscriptions he had forgotten about, and using them only now and then. He had the AI connect to Plaid, where it found more subscriptions than the two apps ever had, and set up a weekly email listing his current subscriptions and any price changes.
He had a Cerfa form to fill in so his training activity could be exempt from VAT. He says the AI filled it in all by itself.
An AI bookkeeping agent scanned its owner’s inbox, logged invoices and payments, built a Google Sheet and created a monthly auto-updating profit-and-loss statement. The books now maintain themselves from the mail.
An ‘Invoice Terminator’ the AI desk closes its owner’s month every month, pinging him only for 2FA and a final yes; on one run it caught a $64 Cursor invoice that would otherwise have escaped unpaid and unnoticed. The monthly close runs itself, with the human as a checkpoint, not a worker.
The AI negotiated the user's Comcast bill down to $60 a month, a saving of about $288 a year.
A Genworth alternatives analyst built a SharePoint-based credit surveillance agent in an AI app Studio. It reviews more than 1,000 documents across 250-plus fund investments and surfaces trends, risks and upside from completed deep reviews.
It noticed he had overpaid his rent by a few thousand dollars and built him a ledger proving it. He took the ledger to his landlord and was reimbursed.
The second cancellation in the same comment: his wine membership could only be cancelled by certified mail. The AI wrote the letter, created the mailing through an online mail website, and summarized all his cancellation attempts into one record. Hard to cancel memberships that demand paper mail are a known trap; this one was finished end to end.
