An AppleVis user had the AI file missing American Airlines mileage-shopping claims for two Best Buy purchases made during a tax holiday, pulling receipt data from Gmail. The user got the confirmation email that the claims were filed.
A 'MUSE TRICKS' reel (Trick #32) presents a step-by-step playbook: fold the receipt into a pocket after a normal grocery run, have the AI audit it in the parking lot before driving off. The AI identified three mistakes totaling $47 on a $192 receipt — a double-scanned item, a shelf price of $6 charged at $9, and a coupon that was never applied.
Commenting on the 26 use cases post, she says she gave the AI access to her budget tracker sheets. It updates the tracker with her balances, and she set up alerts for when a category goes over plan. A SpaceX launch engineer says his AI talked with a treadmill company's sales rep and got the price, the subscription and the assembly fee lowered, then paid. He says it saved $750, and no brand or receipt was shown.
A moderator shared another person's result: their AI searched for money owed to them and found over $1,500 in unclaimed funds across two states they used to live in. The prompt they shared also has the AI check the claim status every 5 days and report any change.
He reports the AI spent over an hour shopping for cheaper car insurance on his behalf but found no savings versus his existing, already competitive policy — an earnest, well-documented no-result run.
This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.
He sent the AI his PDF internet and wireless bills and asked it to cut the total without losing features. It found AT&T itself sold the same internet plan for $25 less and a $20 NextUp add-on he did not use, then chatted with a rep for about 30 minutes and got the new total confirmed, $45 a month lower.
