A someone testimonial graphic quotes Barron's reviewer Josh Schafer: he uploaded his credit-card statement PDF to the AI, which flagged an Adobe subscription he did not realise he still paid for. Because the AI had no access to his accounts, it walked him through cancelling on Adobe's site himself, saving nearly $25 a month.
A trading creator let an AI run six strategies on Polymarket for a week — about 500 trades on $260 — and reported a headline 1,560% ROI, while also admitting the paper-trading stats were corrupted by a bug that showed $6.2 million in profit from $30 by ignoring fees and slippage. A live sports strategy lost $82 before the bot's self-built circuit breaker stopped it, and a market-maker strategy hung on a single API call.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
PayPal had told the IRS he had done tens of thousands of dollars of business through it, when the real figure was $150. With its help he disputed the claim and the entire tax bill was eliminated.
He told the AI to request anything it could get sent to him for free, with no limits set. So far a fabric sample and a lot of state travel guides have arrived, and he is a bit worried about how much more is coming.
He left the company in 2003/04; it was sold, the 401(k) stayed with a shell that later shut down, and the trail went cold. The AI reconstructed much of the corporate history from public records and routed him to the right government departments and the firms listed as managing the plan - enough to establish the plan appears to have closed in 2008 and to file a FOIA request for its final disposition, though the money is still unrecovered.

A screen recording shows a user asking the AI to review three months of bank statements across three connected accounts and say where the money goes. The AI reported $4,320/month average spending against $4,850 income, dining up 35% to $410/month, and three subscriptions totalling $47/month unused for 90 days, offering to cancel them.
The one job he gives the AI is a fraud check: before he pays invoices, he has it confirm that each payment is going to the right bank account. He runs up to 200 invoices in a session, two or three sessions a week.
Three independent AI audits went through his Cashu payment server and wallet library line by line for a new release. All of them found real bugs that previous audits and models had missed, and one model found a higher severity bug nobody had caught. The release fixes what they found.
