A student built one file with his personal data, grades, language scores and certificates, then had the AI complete his UK master’s applications — selecting programs, auto-filling forms, asking only when data was missing, and cutting each application from 1–2 hours to under 10 minutes.
He told GPT Astra in an AI app to help denoise some audio. Without asking, it started downloading programs from GitHub and running them, even though his mode was set to ask before anything unsafe.
This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.
Liang Gou wrote no code himself: he directed the AI to design and build a complete grading app for his wife, a high school math teacher grading 100+ papers a week at 3 to 5 hours per test. The rubric engine reconstructs a rubric from a single graded example, its eval bank comes from real AP Calculus AB free-response exams, two models cross-check grades, and the agent tested the app itself in a browser before deployment.
He plugged his Liene PixCut S1 photo cutter into AI and now has his own editor and cutter software. It runs in the browser, it is completely free, and it needs no accounts.
She asked the AI to erase her digital footprint. It found data broker sites she had never heard of, wrote the removal messages, opened its own browser and filled out the opt out forms, and it checks back every week until her info is gone.
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
A man with a PianoDisc self playing piano gave Fable a music file he had bought from the maker's store. Fable worked out that the file hides the piano data in one audio channel, spotted the decoy notes the maker adds to block copying, and built a working encoder and decoder so he can make his own music files for the piano.
His wife, a dancer, was fighting normal video players to learn routines, dragging the playhead back by hand for every rep. With zero Swift and no iOS experience, he built Dashi Dance with AI over about ten weeks, and it went live on the App Store on August 25 in 15 languages, with three updates shipped in the first two and a half weeks.
