A developer built Idea Leash on an AI profile running locally on his Mac: he sends a podcast link by Telegram before a walk, and the agent transcribes it, writes notes into his markdown wiki and prepares a five-question quiz. After four real walks it had logged 7.66 km, nine voice ideas and sent after-walk summaries with web searches for ideas he dictated.
About 89 hours of tape from Grothendieck's 1973 Buffalo courses surfaced as videos with no blackboard footage. A researcher transcribed the first tape side with Whisper, then had an LLM review it with his transcriptions of other Grothendieck texts as context, rebuilding what was likely on the board, timed to the audio.

A user in the AI Facebook group posted on Oct 18 that the AI could not save files directly to his computer the way the AI could, so rather than buy a subscription he built his own bridge in about six hours. The AI can now write straight to his local files, compatible with his existing agent stacks, and he published the tool open-source on GitHub.
He scraped a friend's two social media profiles, made a plan, and had the AI create a website for them. In about half an hour he had a site to show them.
He asked the AI to read everything he has published, 1.2 million words on his site plus his social posts. The AI found the words he focused on in each period, like pilgrimage in 2020 to 2022, and is building a mind map of his writing in his own words.

Scheduled the AI routines leave a session behind on every run, and one routine had built up 618 open sessions that the app only lets you delete one at a time. A cleanup skill plans the job, keeping the newest sessions and any where the owner typed a reply, then has the AI delete through the app’s own session tool, 25 per call, each batch behind an approval card.
