Engadget reporter Karissa Bell spent a few days testing the AI (naming her agent 'boo') after connecting it to her Meta accounts. As one of her first tasks she had it mine her large backlog of saved Instagram and Facebook posts for recipe videos and posts, returning an organized list grouped by type with ingredients, steps, and links back to each original post — a searchable personal recipe book.
A maker had the AI design a circuit that shows a picture stored in a memory chip on a standard VGA screen, using common logic chips, and write the chip code for it. He routed the board himself, had it made for $6, fixed the one missed error with a wire, and the board works.
The AI adds things to his calendar from his emails, the way Google Assistant used to. Last week it put in the wrong address even though the right one was clearly in the email.
This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.
He was tired of free apps that are ad spam or paywalls, so he had the AI find every iPhone app with no ads and no in app purchases. The agent verified 149 apps and built them into a directory. Deals in it are checked daily and everything is rechecked weekly.
Antigravity reworked a 3D-printed purse hinge for TPU printing, taking measurements and rotating parts on its own; it held dimensional accuracy and inferred dimensions he did not have.
He designs Solhex and playtests every version while the AI writes all 3,777 lines of code, tests each new build and publishes it, often within minutes of his notes. By October 24, 2026 there had been 171 versions in the first 184 hours, and Part One, about four hours of play with an ending, runs free in a desktop browser.
A musician in a home studio asked the AI to search his Instagram followers and follows for musicians active in the past year, select two songs per musician, and compile them into a YouTube playlist. The agent succeeded, creating a 6+ hour 'Community Listening' playlist — music mostly new to him from his own network.
Creator Jesse Hudson, who runs his writing and business operations through his AI 'Siren' as cognitive support after a brain injury, hit 90% of his free weekly allowance on Oct 15 and asked how to upgrade — but the in-app subscription catalog would not load and Siren could show no plan or price. Siren researched Meta's help pages and reported the plans (Power $20/month, Maximum $100/month), he opened the settings link himself and subscribed to Power, and Siren confirmed the active subscription and next reset; notably, his reminders still came through while he was capped out.
$20a month
This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
