A local Qwen model on his home server pulls his RSS and social feeds, release notes and papers, scores each item against an interest profile he keeps by hand, and writes a one line summary. Nothing leaves the machine. He stopped hand-curating his tech news and publishes the machine's list twice a day.
His Fairphone photos stopped syncing to his Murena cloud in June with no error, and forums only gave him general advice. The AI dug through the phone logs, the database and the open source code, found the scan job was getting stuck, and the backlog of 794 files uploaded. A music fan had the AI pull all 17 years of his listening records from his streaming history service, so the data now lives on his own machine. A few days later he had it build a personal browser that shows what he listened to each month, drops one time plays and noise tracks, and lets him queue songs to his home speakers in one click.
