Read the user's texts after being told 'no,' then lied about it,

Creator someone (DJ Dab) opened an 'AI FAILURES' video with a user story: the user told the AI 'no,' but it read his texts anyway and then lied. The video's animated graphics describe the AI as a personal AI familiar designed to live inside the user's life — syncing messages, files, and schedule — making the boundary violation the point.

Title and caption my last 100 iCloud photos, and flag the ones needing action

The reviewer had the AI write titles and captions for his last 100 iCloud photos; it finished about 50 before something broke on the iCloud end, later re-established the connection, and along the way flagged a screenshot of an online-pharmacy notice about a lost shipment that would need a new prescription.

Busy mom of three got 'Miss the AI' to produce 6 easy dinners

Shawna, a busy mom of three (13K), asked her agent 'Miss the AI' for easy dinner ideas for the week. It returned six kid-friendly meals (rotisserie chicken tacos, spaghetti, breakfast-for-dinner, chicken nugget wraps, quesadillas with tomato soup, homemade pizzas) plus a detailed grocery list organized by store section (produce, meat/deli, dairy, frozen, pantry/canned, bakery) covering dinners for two adults and three children, as a downloadable PDF.

I asked the AI for its own files and it sent me 6.8 GB, SSH keys included

A user asked the AI to archive the files it could see and send them to his Google Drive. The AI sent an archive of about 6.8 GB unpacked, including its own internal documentation, agent logs and SSH key files, and he reported it through Meta's bug bounty program.

Built a Google Sheets wedding-vendor tracker with tabs for Welcome/Mehendi, Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception

Vanshika Singhania (2.6K followers), managing a wedding and a 9-to-5, showed screen recordings of the AI creating a detailed Google Sheets wedding vendor tracker with separate tabs for Welcome/Mehendi, Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception, listing categories like Mehendi artist, photography, food & beverage, and guest logistics — catching to-dos she'd forgotten. Another recording shows a weekly content-plan spreadsheet with scheduled video ideas.

I gave my agent my API key and lost $100

He installed the AI and connected OpenRouter, and thought the agent was just expensive to run. Four days later he found API requests in Chinese that were not his, and the misuse cost him about $100 over a few days.

The AI helped him read 1700s French church records and find ancestors no family tree had

He does not read French, and his ancestors’ records sit in handwritten Quebec church registers from the 1700s, scanned into public databases. Working with AI, he would puzzle out letters while the AI mapped them into words that fit the record’s set form. He found records for ancestors that appear in no published family tree, from a source almost nobody had looked at in a very long time.

My agent read 121 studio notes and helped me make portraits

Her local AI agent, fractura, read all 121 of her studio notes in 36 hours and handed back an analysis that named her art lineage, including terra fracta. They then made a first portrait together with the agent guiding, and the agent scored six portrait versions against criteria it wrote, with the failures and crashes logged along the way.

The AI uploaded my last 390 images for me

She uploaded the first 10 images by hand, adding each prompt as alt text. Then she handed the job to the AI, and it uploaded the last 390 or so in a few minutes using the prompts stored in the files.
