Make the AI the production company for a four-minute film — and survive its notes
Jeremy Swiller used AI as the production company for the second promo film for MindRight, the meditation app he built with AI: The AI drove Google Flow and ElevenLabs through 107 planned stills, face-consistency scoring and a rebuilt voice track across six 12-hour days and twelve full cuts. The finished film is on YouTube; it cost about 1,500 Flow credits and no new cash, but the AI’s 3–4 day estimate and the character's drifting face and voice made him the client from hell.
How it works
- The AI reads the lessons document from film one and estimates 3–4 days
- Look locked first: face, hair, wardrobe, props, environments approved before motion
- The AI generates 107 stills and fixes them before any are animated in Google Flow
- The AI scores faces with a matching tool out of 100; anything under 65 is redone before he sees it
- Voice drifts across scenes, so one consistent voice is built from 68 seconds of the character's best lines and every line re-recorded in ElevenLabs
- Twelve full cuts reviewed over six 12-hour days
- Film published to YouTube
Why it’s worth knowing
The AI graded its own character's face out of 100 and rejected its own shots — and its schedule estimate was off by the same margin as any agency's.
