Jobsite QR codes let any worker ask the specs, and an agent audits submittals for the PMs

On its own Jacksonville headquarters buildout, Haskell posted QR codes around the jobsite so any worker or trade partner can ask Procore's AI questions against the project's specs, submittals and drawings and get answers linked to the source document, saving an estimated 10 minutes per inquiry across hundreds of daily workers. Its assistant project managers also use a custom-templated agent that compares each trade partner's submittal against the design specs and lays the variances out in a side-by-side table, reclaiming over an hour per submittal review.

How it works

  1. Worker scans a jobsite QR code
  2. Asks the agent a question in plain language
  3. Agent searches specs, submittals and drawings
  4. Answer arrives with the source section linked for verification
  5. Separately, an APM uploads a submittal
  6. Templated agent compares it line by line against the specs
  7. Side-by-side variance table goes to the team for review

Why it’s worth knowing

Adoption came from curiosity, not a rollout plan: QR flyers on site let any trade partner try the agent, and the questions started on day one.
