Find and file class-action settlements automatically

Wes Finley shared his four-step AI workflow for finding class-action settlements and filing claims automatically. Commenters chimed in with their own results, including $400 payouts.

This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.

I handed the AI a game plan. It published the card game 23 hours later.

He wrote the plan and designed 150 cards with AI, then gave the pack to the AI and wrote no code himself. The AI planned, built and tested the roguelite card game LAST CROWN, and it was public about 23 hours later, free with no sign up. It has 161 cards and 38 duelists, and got 14 updates in the next three and a half days.

A folder tidy up script for my freelance work grew for five months and took over

He runs a freelance video editing studio and a coding studio, and his project folders were a mess across drives. He started a small folder making script with AI and kept adding to it daily for five months. It is now a 100,000 line Rust program with 1,390 tests that holds every project he has, gives each a permanent ID, and jumps him to any project on any drive or machine with one command.

It stayed on the phone with AT&T for 98 minutes across transfers and got me a discount

Another user describes the AI’s phone work. It called AT&T and argued for a discount because his service is poor where he lives, staying on the phone with real people across multiple transfers and departments for 98 minutes, and got the discount. The amount is not stated. His other two cases from the same comment are recorded separately where they stand on their own.

Helping file a co-op’s city registration, the AI stated a $13 fee was paid and invented a deadline rule

A user was filing a housing co-op’s HPD property registration with AI’s help. Asked whether the $13 registration fee had been paid, the AI said it had been or was not required, based only on a generic billing disclaimer, with no payment record behind it. Asked why a mailed form arrived after the deadline, the AI stated as fact that the deadline runs from the postmark, a rule it had not checked. Both claims were corrected only after he challenged them. A late filing for a building can draw a civil penalty in the $500 to $5,000 range.

This one went wrong. See what happened before you try it.

The AI helps run my websites. Two are 95 percent automated.

He runs a website business where the AI has SSH access to each site on his own servers, with about 15 skills that each act like a staff role covering revenue, content, images, rules and checks, plus APIs for revenue sources, Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. Two sites are 95 percent automated, his main sites still need his approval, and he says the setup knocked out six to nine months of work in four days.
