Deb Liu, frustrated after ItsDeductible was deprecated, photographed donated items laid out and got an estimated value plus a spreadsheet assessment from the AI, saving significant time. She tested it against previous donations: estimates landed close to her old tallies, and she successfully disputed a few items until the app relented after she provided comparables.

Scrape my X bookmarks into a searchable Notion database every 6 hours

Jeston Lu built an AI that scrapes his saved X posts every six hours and auto-categorises them into a Notion database so the archive stays searchable, with screenshots of the database shared in his post. The build drew strong engagement (1.6k+ likes) as a fix for bookmarks piling up and being forgotten.

My dot built and published my review lab page from one prompt

Diana gave her dot Sparky one brief for a standalone review lab page, with a ten test grid, the scoring rules, a checklist and a clear note that it must not invent test results. Sparky built the page in an AI app Sites, published it, told her on its own that the page was set to private, and gave her a link she could share.

Corina Noriega (130K followers), a busy mom, nutrition coach, and trainer, demonstrated the AI’s assistant 'Kai' (cartoon dog). She entered family of three, $50 grocery budget, fridge/freezer contents (chicken tenders, beef), training schedule, and macro goals; Kai generated a detailed PDF plan covering Friday Sept 18 to Thursday Sept 24 with grab-and-go breakfasts, prepped dinners, a $38.43 shopping list, training windows, and recipes.

Build a source-checked mini-site in five minutes — but it can't go public

Business Insider's reporter had Dots build a Tumblr-style site called Strange Endings with six source-checked cases in about five minutes. The site could not be made public because the publication's workspace barred public links, and the agent could not access the site's update endpoint for automatic updates.

This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.
