Find and buy me a USB-A to micro-B cable

Bryan gave the AI a basic errand: find a USB-A to USB micro Type B cable. Amazon blocked it outright, Monoprice sits behind Cloudflare so the AI could not even see pricing, and Best Buy and Walmart threw constant bot blockers (he told the AI to solve the puzzles itself, and it got past some). Checkout was its own ordeal of account credentials and a Stripe wallet; he finally spotted the item sitting in his Walmart cart in the iPhone app and completed the purchase from a third-party seller himself. His verdict: kind of terrible at basic finding and buying.

Korean investing YouTuber had the AI audit his subscriptions from Gmail receipts

A Korean the AI guide recounts a Sept 23, 2026 video by investing YouTuber Kim Dante (channel 'Tomorrow's Investment King Kim Dante'), who joined the AI through a US VPN and asked it to list every subscription he pays for, rank them by how little he uses them, and draft a cancellation message for each. Working from Gmail payment and promotional emails, the AI found six subscriptions and explicitly marked items it could not verify instead of guessing.

His lifting coach lives in an AI app and the numbers come from scripts, not the model

Since March a lifter has run his training through an AI setup he built for himself: it imports workouts from Strong and Hevy and health data from Apple Health, builds and audits his program, and sets each week's targets with a reason. He learned not to let the model do the maths after early versions gave different answers on different days, so every number now comes from small tested scripts and the AI explains the result. Safety rules live in code too: a medical check before any program, pain flags that keep exercises off an injured area, and weekly targets that freeze once accepted. He has since shared it as an open source plugin.

The AI sorted my bookmarks and threw most of them away

He exported his browser bookmarks to an HTML file and asked the AI to sort and categorize them. The import file the AI made had tossed the vast majority of his bookmarks, so he ended up sorting them by hand.

Update all 12 pages of my website in three minutes

Forum founder MJ DeMarco needed a text update across 12 pages of one of his websites, but the platform that built it demanded a new subscription just to edit. He gave the AI access to the site folder instead; it made all the changes in about 3 minutes, avoiding an estimated hour of manual editing and a $20/month subscription.

Sync my health data locally and flag anything unusual

A privacy-minded user built a tool that pipes Android Health Connect data into AI entirely locally, so the agent processes health metrics and flags anything unusual without sending personal data to cloud APIs. The recommended setup pairs it with a local model for the same reason.
