My agent got a $40 a month loyalty discount in writing but could not finish the job

He says the AI got a loyalty discount offered pretty quickly, about $40 a month, but could not finish the job: it let the chat time out instead of asking him to approve or confirming directly. Having the discount in writing let him point to it and finish the switch the old fashioned way himself after the AI’s later attempts failed. He still counts the $40 a month as saved.

This only partly worked. Worth knowing before you try it.

Turned a water-pipe cleaning notice photo into calendar alerts and ongoing monitoring

Kilsonmoon sent the AI a photo of a neighborhood water-pipe cleaning notice: The AI identified when his street would be cleaned, added it to his calendar, set a messenger reminder for the day before, and relayed the precautions — close the valve, avoid running the washing machine. It also found the full schedule on the water utility's website and registered ongoing monitoring so future notices trigger automatic alerts.

Fill and submit UK master’s applications from one master file

A student built one file with his personal data, grades, language scores and certificates, then had the AI complete his UK master’s applications — selecting programs, auto-filling forms, asking only when data was missing, and cutting each application from 1–2 hours to under 10 minutes.

Ran hiring and sales ops for her design business: drafted LinkedIn job

Keerthi Jeethuri, a Seattle-based designer and TEDx speaker (19.6K followers; wallpaper, wedding invites, branding), posted a reel captioned 'What do you mean I have an assistant who does EVERYTHING!!!! someone someone.' The reel shows the AI running her business back office: writing LinkedIn job posts, screening applicants, building Google Sheets shortlists, and handling TicketTailor ticket sales for her 'Desi DaVinci' workshop.

AI scripts run the air in my home studio

He built air quality management for his home studio, all scripted by AI. An AirGradient sensor feeds CO2, temperature and humidity into Home Assistant, which boosts ventilation, kicks on the heat pump, or runs the humidifier when the air drifts from comfortable.
