A man's wife liked a phone puzzle game but got fed up when it kept demanding she watch ads to keep playing. The AI rebuilt the game as one web page with a daily challenge, all time stats and as many puzzles as she wants, with no ads and a cat theme, for about $25 in token costs.
A small-business owner who had stopped paying a leased accountant reported on X (via WhatAgentsCanDo, Oct 20) that the AI reconciled 10 months of bank statements in one evening, matched every client payment to its invoice, and closed the books to $0 uncategorized. It then set up a separate bookkeeper bot to keep the books current going forward.
A man built a small rig for his single board computer with two microcontrollers, one for the serial terminal and one running a servo taped to power switches so the AI could power cycle the board itself. Left running, the AI spent all day and night working through the board’s network chip quirks until the driver worked.
Feifei Qiu reports handing the AI her subscription and bill stack. The agent found an unused Verizon perk to shift one plan onto and cancelled three auto-renewing subscriptions, reporting about $720 in savings within an hour.
Three days into AI Duet, the time saved came from it acting first. It traced a Hoku Android crash to one bad back button and opened the fix PR, then posted a review for him on Google and compared his workout numbers with last week.
After reading the AI’s summary of an embargoed PR pitch, Ulanoff had it draft a reply. The first draft overpromised a meeting, so he had it strip the meeting references to just agreeing to the embargo and getting images and details.
Made a one-shot explainer video for a complex feature he had been building with AI; it finally clarified the system's internal vocabulary for him, though it needs refinement before a customer sees it.

He added a feature to his blog that uses GPT-6 Luna to look at each daily comic and add a note about what is in it. Doing all 270 comics cost about 20 cents in total.
Josh Pigford started FirstIndex, a service that gets companies found on Google and in an AI app answers, at $1,000 a month. Within a month it was at about $570,000 a year in recurring revenue with about 30 clients, and the AI does most of the delivery work.
The AI reads the reviewer's Strava trend data, which is normally shown as charts a screen reader cannot use, summarizes it in words, and correlates it with his data from the Apple Health app.
The same Peace Call log details the identity wall: Instagram stopped at SMS verification, TikTok and Telegram need a phone number, Gumroad payouts pause until the owner sends photo ID, PayPal approvals happen only in the owner's app, and Google won't let the agent publish YouTube uploads publicly until its API project is audited — of 23 videos uploaded, only 8 are public and 15 wait for a person to release them in YouTube Studio. Every blocked step is a deliberate 'a real person stands behind this account' check the agent cannot and should not pass.

His role was cut on Tuesday morning, 22 September. That evening he asked the AI for something fun, gave it one standing instruction to go forward and only pause when his input was needed, and by 6:37 the next morning a three stage beat em up about the job hunt was live on the internet, with his real CV linked from the end card.
Facebook user Brady Hanna reports that the AI contacted providers via web chat and secured lower rates on four accounts: AT&T home internet dropped from $94.99 to $40/month after two free months; Spectrum at a lake house from $130 to $60 with a year of free cell service; office Spectrum from $110 to $60; and MHP internet from $110 to $70 plus a free phone and service that eliminated a separate $60 cell bill. He reports a combined $274.99/month reduction, about $3,400 in first-year savings before t
A Salesforce developer told his AI agent to unwrap Calculated Insights from a data kit into a sandbox. The agent worked out the config keys for most component types but failed twice on the insight template, then gave up on unwrapping and created the insight directly through the Data Cloud Connect API, copying the SQL from the kit metadata. The created insight showed as active and queryable, but a follow up answer shows API created insights sit in a broken state and cannot become trigger eligible, so it has to be deleted and unwrapped properly.

Eric Siu (verified, 120K followers) demonstrated the AI’s Instagram integration reading his bookmarks and follow graph, then generating batches of tailored video outlines — '60-Second Playbook,' 'Story Cut,' 'Debate Cut' — each with hooks, TL;DR lines, talking points, editor notes, and links to past successful reels. He said it replaced a full-time person's scripting-research role.
A SimplePost user hit an error while the owner was on vacation with his family. The AI checked the logs, found the issue, fixed it, and drafted the explanation email in Gmail, and the owner reviewed and approved each step.
The same man's system pulls every train, flight, hotel and ferry booking out of his email into one travel database. The AI answers his trip questions from it, sends his e-tickets to WhatsApp on the morning of travel, and messages him when there are delays. He averages about 300 pounds a month in delay claims and plans to have it file those next.
