My bot drafts Community Notes on election rumors, and I approve each one

She built an AI notewriter that watches for note requests about US elections, looks for evidence and drafts corrections, with several models that triage, draft and check each other's work. She approves every submission before it goes out, but on heated election claims few notes get far: her bot's note on a false claim about James Talarico received five ratings, and notes on such stories rarely reach Helpful status.

This only partly worked. Read what happened before you try it.

How it works

  1. The bot watches for note requests about US elections
  2. Several models triage, draft and check corrections against evidence
  3. She approves submissions before they go out for human rating
  4. Some notes on plain topics reach Helpful status while election notes mostly stall

Why it’s worth knowing

The bot can find the facts and write a fair correction, and the note can still go nowhere, because Community Notes only shows a correction when people who disagree politically both rate it helpful.
